I mean a immature tone.

Then you should have said "nothing immature please".

Or he could have said "No cartoony stuff please".

Since when has the ESRB been rating movies?

Okay, so an M rated game is equivalent to a R rated film...really? An R rated Godzilla film? I'm sorry, but a R rated Godzilla film? That would be a stupid move, since the audience would most likely be children. The most likely AND realistic rating would be PG-13.

Perhaps he's Australian?

Under their system, an "M" might be very likely.

From a business standpoint PG-13 naked the most sense because it hits a broader audience. Sorry if I'm annoying I'm trying not to get on anyones nerves.

PG-13 is the best rating for the most financial gain. If it's PG, it would make it seem like it's a children's film (no G-fan wants that) and if it's R, it makes it look like they are just using the Godzilla name to use unnecessary content in a film, which will make families not go see it. If it is PG or R, LP will loose money as for either rating, and it would only focus on one audience, and not both.

An R rated film would be cool, but it will obviously get a PG-13 rating.

But then if he doesn't want something "immature" there's no reason to say "I don't want something cartoony". They're not synonymous.

I would say at the most, a 14A like King Kong 2005, The Gamera Trilogy, Cloverfeild, and Final Wars. At the very least a PG like many disaster movies.

I want a movie so hardcore that it will be banned in most countries. Something in the tradition of the most infamous Italian Mondo films.

That way people can't say Godzilla is for little children. It'll instantly earn respect.

It's genius.

It's too bad Sam Peckinpah is dead. He'd show those asshole kids how people really die in a monster attack.

No. I just want Godzilla to be an aggressive-neutral beast that destroy buildings and blows away tanks instead of an OOC-ish anthropomorphic mannerism. Thats it.

Nah, It would be like there trying to hard an it would fail anyways... The opening should really just set the tone of the film dealing with some type of nuclear fall-out an Godzilla reemerging from the depths of Japan's trenches, leaving a city once again in ashes an radiation leaving most places uninhabitable.... Then U.S. submarines end up disappearing somewhere off the coast of California.. until Godzilla finally rises destroying the city leveling the entire military an showing the world what a walking nuclear weapon is capable of.

I'd be okay with something along those lines...It doesn't need to be a slasher, gory, over the top film.. but it def shouldn't be a comedy at all neither. That's another thing i really disliked about G.I.N.O. besides the obvious. A PG-13 rating is more then acceptable for a Godzilla film.

Sure. It can. A monster movie can. But Godzilla? No... At least the nude and sex scenes. Everything else is fine (depends on one's taste of things).
