Anguirus swam up to the continent of Europe, he could sense something was up in this area of land, he could feel it. He marched all the way to the country of Germany, where he began destroying every building he saw, looking for this strange presence. The military was setting up to fire at him, seeing him as a threat, but the general could tell Anguirus wasn't attacking to destroy, but to search. Finally, Anguirus found what he sensed here, and saw a colony of Zettonians (Zetton Sejin)...

Anguirus wanders over to a tall structure, one that seems/appears to be an office building. He stops and fixes a suspicious glare at it, as if to signal something was amiss inside. Due to his appearance, people all clad in expensive business suits evacuate the building and congregate in front. They stare and point at, as well as talk amongst themselves, about the quadruped menace. The peculiar thing about this situation is not that there is a giant mutant ankylosaur standing in the street...but rather, that these people do not seem surprised to see such an entity. Suddenly, these "businessmen" shed their disguises- no wonder why Anguirus stopped and stared, these were Zettonians! *cue dramatic music*

The appointed leader of the bunch speaks in “his” native tongue to a subordinate while pointing vigorously. The subordinate fiddles with his watch as the Zettonian leader barks orders, but what was the point of adjusting the time!

Out of nowhere, a sizable object (Anguirus can only assume it is probably comparable in size to himself, because the object landed behind Godzilla's wingman here) touches down behind the spike-laden dinosaur.

Anguirus turns to face the intruder, and suddenly the subordinate Zettonian's unusual act with the watch made complete sense. He summoned the Zettonian bodyguard, Zetton, to deal with the threat to their operation! Anguirus shoots his distinct roar to the sky, whereas Zetton stands unusually still; the only reaction from the extraterrestrial combatant is a series of computer beep-like noises subsequent to the repetition of his name.

sorry about changing the arena, when you promoted the match you said Germany, and I didn't read GR's post entirely...

Anguirus snarled at this creature, he could easily tell it wasn't from Earth. However, it was much different from any other monster he has seen, even stranger than Gigan. But one thing was for sure, he needed to stop him. Anguirus charged head first at Zetton and rammed straight into his chest, and managed to pierce his flesh slightly. Anguirus then hit him across the face, sending him crashing down into a nearby building face first. Zetton got up and turned around and saw what looked like a large ball of destruction coming in his direction, and was in fact Anguirus rolling like an armadillo, only difference was he is covered in spikes...

Zetton rapidly climbs to his feet and turns to face the oncoming attack. Anguirus was barreling down the street and leaving annihilation in his path, straight for the extraterrestrial entity. Before Anguirus crashes into him, Zetton fades into nothing. The dinosaur continues rolling (passing where Zetton was) until he collides with a building and his armored, spike-laced carapace tears through the concrete like tissue paper and creates a shower of debris that coats the carapace and the scales of the kaiju.

Anguirus steps out of the rubble and shakes his body. Some of the shards and dust fall off Anguirus' body, while some remains coated to his scales. Anguirus roars in an annoyed tone of voice, disturbed that he failed to hit his mark; but for the four-legged creature, the collision with the building dealt zero damage or harm to him.

Zetton phases back into existence (he had employed his teleportation ability) to the left side of Anguirus after he had stepped out of the wreckage. He rears his [right] leg back, then kicks it forward, right into his enemy's unprotected side (a kick to the kidney) with a fine amount of force. The alien's intent was to give a demonstration of his physical prowess, and that is exactly what he did. The blow lifts Anguirus off his feet; just a few meters off the ground. When he lands, he stumbles to the opposite side he was kicked, but just a few steps. He immediately begins to control his breathing, and/to manage the pain, but his strange opponent attacked a good spot; it would not be simple. The flesh under the scales becomes tender and bruising was likely beginning.

For his next attack, Zetton picks up his enemy and spins him in the air. He picked him up quickly- another demonstration of his strength. In the air, he spins Anguirus so he’ll land injured side-first wherever he throws him. Zetton decides to hurl him into an old and elegant tall cathedral. The concrete of the structure splinters into his sore flesh and causes flares of pain as it rains onto the dinosaur, in addition to the warm throbbing sensation from crashing forcefully into it. The insect-like alien’s odd beeping noises echoed in Anguirus’ ears, and he heard the monster roar, “Zet-ton…”

While his enemy is downed and occupied with the burning ache in his side, Zetton projects an incredibly searing fireball from his mouth apparatus. The weapon travels through the air quickly, straight for Anguirus’ exposed belly…

Anguirus tried his best to get up, but his attempts were useless. He felt the stinging and fiery feeling of a fireball on his exposed belly. He screamed in agony, but he took the pain as best he could. He snarled at this enemy, he was strong, and he needed to show he is strong too. When he finally got up, Anguirus roared at Zetton, basically trying say "is that all you got?!" Before Zetton could answer though, Anguirus bit Zetton's leg and pulled his leg from under him, landing Zetton on his back. Anguirus then jumped on top of Zetton and bit him on the neck, blood spurting from his enemies neck. Anguirus now had the upper hand, he could feel it. He let go of Zetton and then stared at his enemy. When he jumped off of Zetton, Zetton got up and then saw a storm of rubble coming towards him...

i have to thank you MZC, for sticking with this match and participating as quickly as you are. as im sure you've noticed, so many others just agree to fight, post an intro, then disappear. so thanks xP this is pretty fun.

The Zettonian kaiju wastes no time in bringing his fists together and employing his energy wave beam to try and obliterate the oncoming rubble, but he was only successful in intervening with some of the rubble. The rest hits various point's around Zetton's body and in the process, leave little scrapes and cuts in the suit-like exterior. From his mouth-like apparatus, Zetton roars the word, "Ton..." like he always does when he feels any type of pain or discomfort.

Now that he had the chance to, Zetton takes a moment to examine his wounds. He feels his neck and looks at his hand- at the trickles of blood staining the black appendage. Then he looks up at Anguirus. Zetton had respect for his prehistoric opponent from watching him, fighting with no less tenacity than he was at the beginning of the scuffle, even with that somewhat tendered side of his, and his chest- that now sported burnt patches of skin and scales, dried blood, and leisurely released wisps of smoke from the pulsating area (courtesy of Zetton's super-heated fireball). The unpleasant smell of his burned chest clouded Anguirus' nostrils, causing frequent physical flaring, but Anguirus is a tough, tenacious monster. The aroma would be no less of a distraction as a semi-automatic human pistol would be against his body.

Zetton trudges down the street in order to get his hands on Anguirus. After he closes the distance, Zetton lunges his arms out and grabs Anguirus by the throat. He expected Zetton to choke him; he even braced for it! But surprisingly, no compression. The insect-like Zetton, instead, raises his right knee and forces Anguirus' head to rest on it for a few moments (the few moments he could hold his balance on just one leg). He raises his clenched right fist high into the air without haste, then slams it down on Anguirus' cranium (the area just before the crown of horns). The blow causes immediate dizziness and confusion, and has Anguirus fall to a crouched position on all fours.

With his first attack executed, Zetton takes a step back while Anguirus shakes his head to ward off the daze. Zetton's series of beeps he gives off were adding to the monster-sized headache (i confess, pun was intended :p) that Anguirus was dealing with. Zetton brings his fists together once again and like before, they become charged with purple energy, then send a stream of crescent energy waves. The row of energy crescents impact Anguirus' shoulder/arm socket and catalyze an explosion of sparks and a shrieking roar-an angry one at that-from Anguirus' orifice.

After several moments, Zetton dispatches his energy attack. The point that he attacked on Anguirus was a little bit sore, scales blown off, and flesh a little bit raw, but no where near debilitating. Anguirus even rose to his hind legs without any haste after the attack’s discontinuation. The alien creature follows up his second attack by ripping a home from its base and hurling it straight at Anguirus' chest...

Yeah, I enjoy the arena and is in my opinion more creative and fun than the shadow arena

Anguirus saw the house coming towards him just like the fireball from last time, but this time he wasn't defenseless. He quickly swung his tail to sent the house flying back at its source, and hit his opponent in the face, deterring him. Anguirus was about to take advantage of this and rolled up and charged at Zetton, hitting him square in the chest and stomach. Zetton fell into a apartment building and was covered in tons and tons of metal and bricks. Zetton got up then and looked around for anguirus, but he was nowhere in sight. Zetton began to feel the ground underneath him shake, it was beginning to lose his balance and realized what as happening. His opponent had dug underground and now was rising from under him. He had to think if he didn't want to fall into the hole being made under him, and needed to think of a solution fast...

Zetton falls through the collapsing ground, landing in the pit. He suffers minor damage apparently because he landed feet-first in the shallow pit.

He climbs out of the pit and glares at his enemy. Anguirus was proving to be a challenge, unlike others he had conquered in the past. Good- just what Zetton enjoys. Now that it was his turn to attack, Zetton delivers a forceful uppercut-like punch into his prehistoric opponent's stomach. Anguirus roars out once the appendage impacts into his gut, sending a spray of saliva from his oral cavity.

The blow causes Anguirus to fall to one knee, but he comes in contact with the pavement thanks to Zetton pushing him down. The punch to the gut was more damaging and painful than average, thanks to Zetton's impressive strength that has been displayed on the likes of Gomora, and even the hero Ultraman himself. Zetton's second attack comes in the form of stomping his right foot down onto Anguirus' head. Once it crashes into the quadruped's cranium, Zetton continues applying pressure, crushing it between his foot and the solid ground. The force of the compression was creating a print in the concrete.

After continuing his assault for a couple of moments, Zetton lets off his adversary. Anguirus was in a daze afterwards, and his headache worsened. The kaiju's skull was not fractured thankfully, although the force caused a bit of blood to pool in his elongated mouth.

Zetton ends his turn by lashing out with his right leg again. While his opponent was in a daze, Zetton tries to kick the dinosaur square in the face...

Edit: just to let you guys know, I didn't change any attacks, just fixed a spelling error. I'm a stickler for proper grammar like that :p

Anguirus got hit in the face HARD, and was sent flying into a building. His headache had gotten worse as it has been throughout the whole fight, and was bleeding in the mouth. Anguirus though wasn't going to give up, he would never back down when facing with the Earth, his home, in danger, and him as the first line of defense. He charged forward and managed to stab Zetton in the stomach with his horn, causing sever bleeding. Zetton uttered a loud "TON..." once Angy pulled his horn out of his stomach. Anguirus only stopped for a second, concentration only on winning. He swung around and "BAM" hit Zetton square in the face, knocking him into the pit, only he was on his back. Anguirus then jumped up into the air, back spikes first, towards Zetton...

im def gonna keep you in mind for future Arena matches MZC. you're a formidable, fun opponent. you've got my respect.

Zetton braces himself and crosses his arms in front of his chest for protection. Anguirus' carapace, decorated with deadly spikes, crashes into Zetton's blocking arms. The spikes poke holes in Zetton's limbs that then leak little trickles of blood, and inflicted soreness that pulsates at the same time as the stomach wound. Zetton‘s utterance of, "Ton...." is certainly warranted from the previous attacks.

Zetton returns the pain full-force with another heated fireball. The big, powerful fireball hits Anguirus in the face- NOT a good spot. As soon as the alien’s projectile connected, Anguirus rises to his hind legs and roars furiously. He rubs his face in a desperate attempt to soothe the pain and his body twists and writhes. The stench of his own burnt skin nauseates poor Anguirus, and as he rubs his incredibly sore face, he unintentionally peels/rips off burnt skin (make no mistake, not causing any pain or damage. Just added for the sake of detail/description).

Anguirus finally pulls his clawed hands away. Palms, fingers, and the claws tipping said fingers play host to blood-dry and fresh-as well as pus, and flakes of burnt flesh. His face is a combination of raw and showing red patches, and a minute sum of black patches. Damn that bug! crosses radiated ankylosaur’s mind.

Zetton takes a few swift steps forward and while he races, his hands are held together and clenched tight to form a sort of “giant fist” held high behind his head. He fiercely brings down his “fist club” into Anguirus’ shoulder- specifically, his left shoulder, that one that was victim to Zetton’s energy crescents earlier in the skirmish.

Anguirus manages to control himself and release a growl instead of roar; that way, he would not give Zetton the satisfaction in knowing how much pain his attack caused and so not to give the alien the confirmation that it was effective. Still, it was not a light blow. Zetton’s strength caused a warm soreness to commence throbbing.

Zetton lets loose with a noise that sounded too much like laughter to be taken as anything but that. It is an attempt to intimidate Anguirus, to get into his mind and psych him out, while he uses his physical prowess to wear his dinosaur enemy down during the scuffle.

Zetton was dealing with his own injuries at the same time though, make no mistake about that. The two kaiju keep their game faces on. Neither one was willing to let up. Zetton carries out one more attack; he grabs his prey and carries him out of the excavation. Holding him by his tail and vigilantly avoiding pricking himself with the various and varying unorganized spikes decorating the appendage, Zetton gyrates around a couple of rotations to build momentum. Once satisfied with the amount of momentum he has fabricated, Zetton releases his respected adversary, sending him flying through the air rapidly towards a cluster of buildings- all of them tall school buildings…

Anguirus fell into the school buildings, not causing to much damage but still causing a few scratches and small bruises. He however continued to slide on the road, and was knocked out. Zetton uttered his name "Zet-ton" and began to walk towards were Anguirus was, ready to finish him off, however, some unexpected resistance came in the fray. The German military came and began to fire all they had at Zetton, missles, machine guns, masers, everything (this is my first attack, since the army would probably help Anguirus in the battle). Zetton began to laugh from the armies attempt to kill him, and began to rain hell on all their troops. But they weren't trying to kill him, just to buy Anguirus some time, and that mission was completed. Anguirus charged at Zetton as a spiky ball and him and Zetton fell into the pit, which broke and sent them falling deeper into the abyss. Once they finally stopped falling and hit the ground of the underground, Anguirus got up and stared at Zetton. When Zetton got up, he couldn't see a thing it was so dark, all he could here was footsteps from him and his enemy. Anguirus however could see him since he had lights flashing on his body. He could tell his enemy couldn't see him, and took advantage of this by charging at him head first...

Interesting first attack. I'll PM our ref about it because I know the rules don't state if you can do that, so just to make sure it's legal, I'm gonna ask him, but I'm impressed. Very creative.

Zetton had a hard time seeing in this dark cavern, so he goes on the defensive. He erects his protective barrier. It's a good thing, too, because Anguirus ends up crashing into it while trying to charge Zetton in a rolled up ball. He used his intellect to assume Anguirus would be on the offensive, and he guessed right.

Anguirus bounces off and uncurls a few meters ahead; he was close enough to be illuminated by Zetton's own lights that his body powered. Before charging forward, Zetton announces, "Zet-ton..." For his attack, the extraterrestrial entity comes crashing down on Anguirus' head with a karate chop. The blow causes a pulsing soreness. Anguirus' cranium has been the victim for some damaging attacks, but he was too durable to fall victim to unconsciousness. This was much to Zetton's dismay.

Anguirus had staggered back some meters which removed him from proximity to be illuminated by Zetton's own body lights. No matter, the Zettonian's guardian would find his prey regardless. He slams his fists together and charges his beam attack. The brilliant glow of purple is bright enough to reveal Anguirus' position. Now that his target is acquired, Zetton lets loose with a flurry of energy crescents.

At first the attack hits Anguirus' carapace harmlessly (because the behemoth was on all fours). Zetton strafes it, then starts hitting Anguirus' undamaged right shoulder. They cause a reaction of sparks as they damage Anguirus' skin. Once he stops, Zetton returns to being blind in the dark cave, but knows Anguirus is feeling the brunt of his attack.

Anguirus' shoulder generates blood in addition to flaring with discomfort. While on his four legs, he holds his wounded shoulder with his left arm. Once again, Zetton charges his crescents, and while he can see Anguirus in a shade of purple from the purple light given off by the energy, he sends another volley of energy crescents at Anguirus...

Anguirus saw the beam coming towards him, and he would have blocked it, but he had an idea. the beam hit him and he screamed out loud and fell...DEAD!!! Zetton laughed with success, this was a dangerous opponent, but he defeated him finally, and when he couldn't see too. He went up and kicked Anguirus's head slightly to see if he was faking or was really dead. it appeared that he was, but Zetton miss judged and learned it the hard way. Anguirus began to dig once Zetton wasn't looking and then came out from underneath Zetton, but this time Zetton fell into it instead of falling on his feet. Anguirus jumped on top of him and headbutted him. Anguirus the stared at him intently, looking at Zetton as if to say "how could you fall for that?" And then bit and and began pulling on Zetton's head, trying to rip it off...

Controlling an opponent like that is against the rules. Having them stand or stagger is fine, but moving them, teleporting me, that's controlling your opponent's monster. you should edit that MZC so you don't get penalized, and it could change your entire attack so I'll wait to post mine

While Anguirus attempts to perform a very damaging attack on Zetton, he unfortunately leaves himself open to a devastating one himself... Anguirus' jaws compress around the alien's head, but do not have much time to continue ripping thanks to Zetton's counterattack. The temperature around Zetton’s face all of a sudden spiked. From this single sign, Anguirus knew what was coming…and a pit formed in his stomach. If he could have, one could bet Anguirus would have changed his attack. As they say, hindsight is always 20/20.

Zetton launches a fireball straight into Anguirus' mouth to stop the fighter from tearing his face apart. The quadruped darts off Zetton immediately, without missing a beat seemingly at the speed of light and thrashes around the area. He emits shrill cry after cry from the 3rd-degree burns left inside his orifice and at the base of his throat (note: the fireball stopped there, and did not do any lethal, rule-breaking damage). All the poor creature could taste was disgusting crisped flakes from his mouth, fresh and dried blood, pus, smoke. Tears gathered at Anguirus' eyes. The pain was unbearable. His maw throbbed with a warm burning pain.

Zetton takes a few moments to gather his bearings and evaluate the damage to his structure from the match so far; he did not even care if his enemy got some time to do the same. Anguirus has gotten in a number of strong attacks, but the fight was not over yet. The two had to keep going if they wanted to emerge victorious and keep their life. The Zettonian bodyguard lumbers to his distracted opponent and grabs hold. He climbs the two out of the dark hole in order to reach the lighted cityscape where fighting would be easier. Once out of the excavation, Zetton tosses his opponent to the ground harmlessly. The Zettonians were not sure if there monster had survived after going without any visual confirmation for minutes, but the sight of Zetton sparked rejoice and good-will among the gathered group outside their headquarters. They could see that their monster has taken a beating, but he was not down yet. Then again, neither was Anguirus…

Zetton teleports to right in front of Anguirus; as he materializes out of thin air, his right leg was already reared back. He wastes no time in sending it forward and kicking Anguirus square in the mouth. New pain flashes inside his mouth. At this point, Anguirus’ warm crimson liquids pool inside his mouth from his bleeding gums and leak out of the closed appendage and falls to the concrete.

For the final attack for this round, Zetton rolls Anguirus onto his back. With his stomach exposed, Zetton raises his leg and thrusts it down in a bid to crush Anguirus’ tender stomach…

Sorry about that GR, I just wanted to do something else other than tooth and claw attacks. But now I fully understand

Anguirus saw the foot coming down but all he could do was sit and watch it crush his stomach. Anguirus tried his best to not show the pain, but it was unbearable, and he let out a Roar/Scream but then it became a Roar of Anger. He had had enough with this monster, not in defense of his home, but in pure need to beat and drive him away. He looked around and saw a lake, then power lines, he had an idea. He jumped up and knocked Zetton into the lake and the grabbed one of the power line towers. he then stuck it into the lake, electrocuting Zetton and everything else in the lake, roasting it to a crisp. Once Anguirus pulled the tower out, Zetton's skin was brown, black, and steaming with pain. Anguirus then grabbed another tower and stared at Zetton, with anger, ready to possibly finish this fight...

Zetton was stunned and disoriented, but he could see Anguirus' shape, and that he had something in his hand. He uses his senses to assume Anguirus would try the same attack again, so with a glow of orange and a couple of cackling bolts around his mouth strip, Zetton sends off a trio of fireballs in Anguirus' direction. One grazes his right shoulder, barely doing any harm, but one of the remaining pair strike him in the torso (closer to stomach) while the remaining one sears his sore left shoulder. The concussive effect of the searing orbs knock the dinosaur back a couple of steps, where he trips up and falls on his carapace. Zetton rises out of the lake and brushes flakes of burnt skin from both arms.

"Zet-ton."

Zetton remains calm and composed...but the Zettonians and Anguirus knew that the attacks were taking their toll. The alien being decides to give a vulgar display of power. To do so, he picks up the injured dinosaur (holding him by his throat) and delivers a stiff blow to Anguirus' maw. The head of the dinosaur jerks to the side before falling limp.

Zetton drops his prey, who once on the ground, spits up a small amount of blood and a fang or two that had been knocked loose. His cheeks felt like chipmunk cheeks from all the swelling that comes from each blow his face absorbed. Damn that Zetton. Which, speaking of him, he was beginning to tire of fighting. He respected this Earth creature for its ability to hold its own against the brawny juggernaut. Zetton picks up his opponent and holds him so that eachother's torsos press together, jumps a distance into the air, then descends towards the cracked solid concrete below. The Zettonians' homeboy is attempting to piledrive Anguirus into the street...

Anguirus rolled into a spiky ball in midair, pricking Zetton enough to let him go and fall into a group of house. Anguirus landed on his feet and stared at the crater that Zetton made when he fell, and saw he was knocked out. He then burrowed underground and waited. Zetton got up after awhile and turned around. The ground then began to shake, and the Anguirus jumped out as a spiky ball at Zetton, knocking him back down. Anguirus then began to think of what to do next, and then saw a radio tower. He picked it up and was about to stab it into Zetton's stomach...
