Didn't see the New York game today, but the final score is enough to convince me that I don't want to. Dammit.

We'd better not let Dallas take this division.

We beat Dallas!

My nearly stopped during this game, but the Giants managed to pull out a last minute win. 37-34. I screamed when Pierre Paul blocked that final Field Goal attempt. He and Eli Manning, who had another miracle fourth quarter performance, saved this game for us.

Our playoff hopes are alive! skreeonk yes!!

The Terrifying and Holy Tim Tebow mounted a 4th quarter comeback to beat Da Bears. Le sigh.

The Saints won though, so that is more important.

"He did it again!" - ESPN.

I gotta say, Tim Tebow has been one of the most interesting stories in the NFL this year. He really helps to make keeping up on Broncos' games entertaining. If he and Denver manage to pull something like that on Patriots next week, I'll never stop laughing.

I think the most hilarious thing would be if they made the Super Bowl against an undefeated Packers team and won.

I doubt it. As much as I hate the Packers, I dont see anyone (even my beloved 49ers) standing a chance against them. Although the Superbowl in 2007 (where the wild card 10-6 NY Giants defeated the 16-0 regular season New England Patriots) showed us that... anything is possible.

Also does anyone else think this Monday Nights game (49ers vs Steelers) will be one of the best this season so far? Even though its not between division rivals, BOTH teams are 10-3 and this will be a HUGE statement game for both teams. In my heart I hope the 49ers win, but I believe Pittsburg has the definite offensive advantage. It will just be up to SF Defense to step up to the level that allowed them to defeat teams like Detroit & NY Giants. Also its in SF, so that will be in the 49ers favor, either case, I think this is going to be a very close, physical game.

Hrm... Interesting Picks... Heres mine:

Wildcard
CIN@HOU-HOU
PIT@DEN-PIT
DET@NO-NO
ATL@NYG-NYG

*edited realizing I had AFC winners going against incorrect opponants based on ranking*

Divisional
PIT@NE-NE
HOU@BAL-BAL
NYG@GB-GB
NO@SF-SF

Conference
BAL@NE-NE
SF@GB-GB

Super Bowl
NE vs GB-GB

This is based on Logic, My heart of course is with the 49ers. If they get NO on a wet, rainy, muddy SF field, this definitely favors the 49ers. The same can be said if they go to Lambeau and have a snowstom to virtually eliminate the Packers passing game.

I agree with this. Despite how nice the Steelers have looked this season at times (ignoring the Browns game...) I don't see them stopping the Saints' momentum.

Wildcard
CIN vs. HOU-CIN
PIT vs. DEN-PIT
DET vs. NO-NO
ATL vs. NYG-NYG

Divisional
PIT vs. NE-NE
HOU vs. BAL-BAL
NYG vs. GB-GB
NO vs. SF-NO

Conference
BAL vs. NE-NE
NO vs. GB-NO

Superbowl
NE vs. NO-NO

I'm guessing with some of these, honestly. Haven't been able to keep up with every team. But right now I'm thinking that the Saints are winning the Superbowl, though that could change easily and Green Bay could win it instead. I'd be surprised to see the Giants go very far, as much as I'd love them to. They're far too hit-and-miss. On a good day, they're able to play Green Bay competitively. Another day, they're losing to the Redskins.

EDIT: Had to fix some things...

Well I got 3 out of 4. It appears nobody here, including myself, thought Tebow had another good game left in him. Oh well, he gets the Broncos to live for one more week. It dosen't change my overall outcome, as the Patriots have already shown they can beat Denver.

That's better than my 2 out of 4. Never saw that Overtime ending coming.

But yeah, I'm thinking it ends next week against the Patriots. Unfortunately, I don't think the Giants are getting any farther against the Packers next week, either.

Well, I got the easy one right lol.

It's pretty easy to throw 10 yards to a wide open receiver and capitalize off of great field position from turnovers. Tebow still isn't anything special, and he's less than stellar.

I can say that Denver was the only team that surprised me with an outcome today. Definitely thought the Steeler's D would have capitalized on his limited skills. Anyways, I think the only team that stands a chance at winning the Superbowl from the AFC is New England. Otherwise the NFC champion will take home the trophy.

Next week's games:

Saints@49'ers- Saints
The 49'ers have a great D... but not good enough. The Saints are playing amazing right now and have an incredible QB in the middle of one of the greatest seasons ever as a QB. Saints D is playing like their superbowl season defense was- turnovers, turnovers, turnovers.

Giants@Packers- Giants
The Packers have been playing questionable football as of late. Their offense is still good, but their defense has been really shaky. Meanwhile the Giants are coming off of a dominating performance defensively. I'm leaning with the Giants, but it would not surprise me if Green Bay won.

Texans@Ravens- Ravens
Neither team finished the season exactly strong. I am gonna go with the Ravens for being at home and in the cold. I expect this one to be close though.

Broncos@Patriots- Patriots
Not a doubt in my mind. Patriots may have awful defense, but their offense is so much better than the Broncos. Brady is gonna pick up his first playoff win in quite some time this year.

It's not Tebow, it just how well his offensive line protects him. They stifled the Steeler defense (the number 1 defense) very well. The man gets all the time in the world to throw a pass.

Well, I quite enjoyed watching the Giants end the Packers' season. I wasn't expecting it, but it was really awesome to watch. My one problem? We can't run the ball at all. I don't believe Bradshaw and Jacobs had a good run until the very end of the game, when New York pretty much already clinched the win.

And that was some truly awful officiating from the referees, regarding the "Roughing the Passer" penalty and the blown fumble call earlier in the game. And to think, if not for those stupid calls, the Packers wouldn't even have their two TouchDowns. And the Packers' defense was really terrible.

It's hard to believe, but if the Giants can beat the 49ers (it's a big if, but it's a possibility...) and if the Patriots beat the Ravens, we could be looking at a Superbowl rematch from 2008. Should be interesting.
