I've had no trouble with the latest issues. I'm relieved we're finally seeing kaiju battles take up entire issues. It's about time. Sure, there are inconsistencies in the story and human subplots, but I'm mostly reading these comics for the kaiju action. I haven't been disappointed. Comics, like books, are giving these monsters a chance to show their true potential. The art is so-so. I've gotten used to it. If these comics continue doing well, we'll see 'better' art down the road.

Wow, this was actually quite an enjoyable issue! The story and fight flowed nicely, it wasn't just a bunch of random shots of monsters hitting/biting/jumping/etc other monsters.

I actually thought Allie was a great part of this issue. "We're gonna die, aren't we?" Even the Woods/Ogden interaction seemed a lot more believeable/realistic in this issue. And I liked that they put in print the question of whether King Ghidorah was a good guy or not.

Still not a huge fan of the Santos version of Godzilla, but I really liked his Battra (and Rodan to a lesser extent) at the end.

Overall, I think this may have been the best issue of KOM yet.

(And I even liked the letters column where they spelled out what monsters we can still expect in the future.)

It fight was pretty cool, and Ghidorah actually looked great in most shots. How quickly Woods changed his mind and made up with Ogden was odd though.

It just seemed weird to me that she was crying and screaming the whole time, but when someone else mentions it, he immediately agrees. I dunno, could just be me.

And I think her name is Allie.

The story has improved a lot in the past two issues but like Chris said the art is still a bit wonky. It's almost a shame this part of the story is going to end after #12. I wish it would continue with Ciaramella now that it's found some balance. It just needs a different artist.
