LOL, I see your point, but I don't think that's what the starter of the thread was looking for. :P

Won't argue with that, after all most of the kaiju were created by man somehow.

They're probably just as guilty of it, Gigan was probably made by them and Garoga from Zone Fighter claim that they created King Ghidorah though personally I think they were bluffing but even still they did make a lot of monsters.

GINO broke the 4th wall in doing so. He not only killed the franchise fictionally, but in real life as well.

I wouldn't say kill but he has cause some lasting damage that I can still spot the franchise trying to recover from still in spots to this day. And somethings it will never recover from like batshit fanboys who think Zilla is stronger despite what GFW shows them and will even defend him saying if he wasn't being controlled he would have won.

I hate how Godzilla and the Lost Continent, the 5th and final Marc book was canclled because of GINO's merchandise bombing.

What makes Hedorah so deadly is the fact is he is bent on destroying the world and that makes him a potential threat. However If Godzilla Meltdown was bent on destroying the world... There would be no world... Not even a desolate pollution filled place such is the case with Hedorah. But I agree that Hedorah gets to be mentioned. He gets second place.

Well, the thing about Burning Godzilla is that he can't willfully meltdown or activate his meltdown; however, if the Super X-III wasn't at the scene, then yeah, the entire world would be screwed.

Armor Mothra. QUAKE AND TREMBLE!!

Seriously though, gotta go with King Ghidorah. I mean, it's stated in Ghidrah the Three-Headed Monster that he successfully wiped out an entire planet's population. That's gotta mean something, right?

They also said Godzilla '54 was 400 ft., I don't think they were worried about fans discussing stuff like this, especially back then, so take early Toho information with a grain of salt.

Yeah, but Ghidorah's feat was more important to the plot than Godzilla's height; and only the dubs stated Godzilla to be 400 feet. I think both versions of GTTHM state that he wiped out Venus.

In the original it was Venus but in the American version they switched it with Mars.

Ah, so the Controller says; he could have been lying though, and considering the Planet Xers control King Ghidorah, it's a safe bet...

Inferno Rodan wrote:I don't think Hedorah really deserves the title as deadliest, since he requires special conditions in order to become deadly. Like, if he'd landed on Earth during the Cretaceous, he wouldn't have done anything because he wouldn't have grown in the first place.

That's true, actually. Hedorah in this day would be definitely at the top of my votes, but there are several kaiju who, with ideal conditions, could take the top spot potentially. I'm not even talking ferocity here but pure power. Actually when you think about it, Mothra Leo's got to be near the top somewhere; always adapting to all threats, able to become Lightspeed or Armour Mothra among others, his Eternal form able to nulify the effects of pretty much any planet killer aftermath... he's pretty tough and like with Hedorah he has more potential...

It was the Venusian that said that, not the Controller. And Venusian came to warm the people of earth about King Ghidorah. She certainly wasn't with the Xiliens.

Ah yes, you're quite right, and I should have remembered that especially considering I watched that one last week... I fail...

Well besides Godzilla himself, it's ether King Ghidorah or Gigan. On one hand King Ghidorah is a mindless killer and Gigan is a space chicken with a buzzsaw!! I think I'm going to have to go with the Space Chicken!! :)

Yep, they claimed that they created KG, though I believe they're just talking out of their asses in an effort to seem more badass.

Actually, early production artwork for Zone Fighter had King Ghidorah in it has an example of a Terror-Beast. So there maybe some legitimacy behind their claims if you're taking Showa universe backstory seriously (which I like to do sometimes).

While the idea of King Ghidorah being just another goon kinda' spoils his badassery, he's clearly gotten out of their control more then once.

Meltdown Godzilla, possibly Showa MechaGodzilla II, DesGhidorah(Surprisingly the only Ghidorah in Kaiju history not killed and simply sealed up), and I would possibly say Dagarah simply because he can pollute like Hedorah but in a different fashion.

Also would Legion count as being deadly?
