That "punched-in-the-face" expression on Godzilla is too poorly drawn for words. Seriously, I've started to enjoy the KoM story, but not even a hardcore fan could just overlook this.

Hm, seems you can;t even stand the slightest criticism towards your beloved KOM, and even when people have begun to like the story, you tell them to buzz off 'cause of their well-justified criticism towards the art.

Let's face it- the art's not good. The inker improves it somewhat but the lines themselves lack sense of dynamic motion, expression and proportion. I know you think its totally perfect in some strange manner of yours, but damn it, look at that art and please tell me why people hqve no right to criticise it. Its detrqcting from the story the new writer has to tell. Most of the people here have been civil in their criticism- i think you are the one who needs a change in attitude.

At least I don't misquote or attribute feelings to others as you're doing to me. Be snide all you want; I've never, ever said I love the comic or the art or blah, blah, blah. Please, stick you're fingers in your ears (or eyes, I guess...) if you want, but please, don't ever contradict everything that I spend time thinking and typing just because you want to be pedantic. It doesn't help back up your argument and what exactly do you mean by this--

I've never, ever said no one has the right to criticize this comic. EVER. In fact, I've openly welcomed and responded to it.

Sorry to say, but the way Godzilla is being "punched"... Doesn't really look like he's got a major punch hit. It's more like, "Okay, I'll stand here and you have your fist here. Perfect." Ghidorah's pose is weird, but MG still looks cool. That, and Steven... Looks derpy.

If they're not liking what they see, they can complain. If they don't feel it's worth their $, they can complain. They complain because it's Godzilla (which everyone here is obviously a huge fan of) and they care about how the character is represented.

EXACTLY. *tries to high five* Though I like Santos' style, personally, there are better artists out there. And his fighting scenes seem to be off... I've seen better fights with Santos. G vs. MG is a pretty good one.

Reading the review on the site, I'm glad there is finally an issue with mostly battles and less words. I may enjoy it, but beyond the art style istelf, what distracts me are Mechagodzilla's teeth in the picture where it is punching King Ghidorah, honestly.

About King Ghidorah, I have no real problem with the design thus far (At least for this incarnation), but am I the only one who gets the ilusion that the right head has a beard that is actually the midle neck?

^It doesn't bother me when people complain; again, everyone misses the point. I guess it's just easier to demonize than to actually weigh opinions and try to find merit.

And I certainly don't give out as much flame for complaints as I get for defending it. This is fact.
