Pretty much this. But I'll add on by saying I don't want an Ifukube score in the movie. We've heard them a million times, we don't need them in this one. For me the theme loses its touch after I've heard it 100,000 times. I think it would be better if an original score styled after Ifukube was used.

I'd be pissed if I didn't hear it, in the same way I would be if they didn't have an arrangement of the Mission: Impossible theme in the next entry. It's such a small thing to ask for, and yet is carries a lot of weight in showing respect for the history of your material.

Yeah. I don't care which country the film is coming from. It's still a Godzilla movie and I want to hear the historic track in it just once.
