I want to watch den-o because I want to know why is he so popular. I DON'T UNDERSTAND I MUST KNOW.

OH! That's right I wanted to watch amazon. That's going on my list so is Kabuto.

I'll give Faiz a try, but not a fan of his suit.

What about Decade?

Decade is alright, but it tends to make all Riders that aren't Decade look bad. Especially Kuuga. Honestly the best part of Decade was when he wandered into the Sentai world, and fights with the Shinkengers. They recast and re-write everyone's world
Ex. Kiva Now like 10, and Prince of the Fangire, and Fangire and Humans live side by side in harmony. Some humans even get angry at Decade for fighting one.

Black RX, now fighting Apollo Geist for some reason (Okay that one was kinda cool)

Decade can also spoil major plot points for the previous series, in spite of this. Kabuto and Faiz in particular.

Then Kamen Rider Shin is Guyver.

No! Shin Kamen Rider is Kamen Rider if Toei didn't gave Ishinomori limits bacj in 1971. Even tought,we still see people turned into skeletons(what the skreeoonk?) in the first series.

I'm sorry, but no. Ishinomori's stuff was never that dark, and Toei did not give him THAT many limitations. Ishinomori clearly had fun making stuff for kids and young adults, but Shin was so obviously his answer to Guyver it's not funny.

The First is just forgettable and anti-climactic, but The Next is hands-down one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Over half of the film is spent on a story that feels ripped right out of a bad J-horror film that has absolutely nothing to do with Shocker. It's pointless, distracting, and poorly directed. I HATE The Next with a burning passion.

As for Kamen Rider Den-O, I'd watch the series and the first movie since both of those are extremely fun. Everything from Climax Detectives on is kind of skippable, although I'd check out Chou Den-O Trilogy Episode Blue for it's great characterization of Kamen Rider NEW Den-O and Teddy, and Let's Go, Kamen Rider! for the sheer amounts of Kamen Rider fanservice (that unfortunately has a piss-poor conclusion).

Oh the Conclusion wasn't THAT bad, and the main movie itself was pretty fun. The actual Climax of everyone showing up one by one was really awesome, I nerdgasm'd. However as usual the final fight was a simple case of let's just all kick him at the same time.

I didn't like Let's Go, Kamen Rider! as much as I liked 199 Hero Great Battle, but it was a fun little movie.

As for Den-O, I cannot stomach Den-O. The Imagin on the Den Liner just spoil the show for me.

Yes, the conclusion was that bad. I mean, [SPOILERS!] our heroes are left in the corrupted timeline and that kid being the other kid's father was a ridiculous plot twist that made little sense [END SPOILERS!] I really liked the movie up to that point, but the half-assed finale nearly ruined the whole thing for me.

I hated The Next because they screwed up V3's story.

To be fair, at least V3's story wasn't nearly as convoluted as Rider #2's backstory in The First.

I've seen a few, and most Heisei Rider music videos I've seen use songs FROM the Rider series.

It also doesn't help that it's MUCH easier to find video to use for the Heisei Riders.

Also using fan MV's is a REALLY stupid way to judge interest. I've seen plenty of love for the Showa Riders around, admittedly not as much as the Heisei Riders get. That's to be expected though, the Heisei Riders are newer, and therefore easier to find subbed in their entirity. Still plenty of people care about the Ishinomori Riders.

Honestly I love both the showa and heisei riders they're neat in their own way and I enjoy both showa and heisei shows.

Watching Kamen Rider Amazon now and it's pretty awesome. It's pretty cool how he tears kaijin limb from limb.
Also really loving the suit design it's very unique compared to the other riders and I think it's the only one modeled after a reptile?
Not including Kamen Rider OOO's Cobra medal form.
I have to pause Amazon till after Thursday though because of finals then Winter Break is a nice Kamen Rider Marathon for me.

Eternal is a true Kamen Rider.

Dude, Eternal is an interesting character. W Returns really expanded upon him well. He lost it though, his heroism stemmed from him trying to keep his humanity alive. However he lost it, when he failed to save Mina.

Because they are so different and don't follow Ishinomori's vision.

They're still heroes, and trying to be like the Showa Riders would make them bland an uninteresting. They'd be imperfect copies, which is never what they have tried to be. Besides the basic elements are always the same.
