Godzilla: The Look/Appearance Speculation

For the discussion of the upcoming Godzilla film by Legendary Pictures.

Re: How many toes should Godzilla have?

It's one of Toho's rules that Godzilla must have 4 toes.

BUT I don't think it should be like the Heisei series where all 4 toes are the same size. I prefer it where one is smaller than the others, like in the very first two films and the Millennium series. It wasn't exactly a dew claw but it kind of stuck off to the side.

And yes I'm talking about Godzilla's feet in this level of depth.

4 toes, his foot should not look like a Tyrannosaurus Rex's.

But if he has 4 toes like 3 in the front, one on the ankle that would be T-Rex style.

For something like this, I think it'd just be best to go to this topic:

This has a bad hunched pose and too large spikes but the rest is good.

I like the spines, they kind of remind me of the odd curvature in the spines on the 54 suit, just more prevalent and sticking out more. His thigh looks anemic compared to his calf muscle though, ditto with the upper arm.

Looks pretty badass, Zilla. Though the more I think of it, the more I'd like to see a throwback Godzilla like the one from the original or '64 MvG incarnation. That's just me.

That my friend is awesome. Though unfinished, I think your design is pretty close to what we all want for the most part.

Too fat and leaning too far forward. And the spikes are just off.

SHUT THE HELL UP YOU DICK!!! YOU DON'T KNOW HOW HARD I WORKED ON THIS! YOU PROBABLY COULDN'T DRAW GODZILLA IF YOUR MOM TOLD YOU TO!!

:P JK of course..

I knew not everyone would like the design. This is my ideal Godzilla though. But I am disappointed with how the hand turned out, I wanted the fingers a bit fatter.

Hm. The stance I like. Slightly modernized, but still somewhat humanoid. The overall look is good too. It's a respectable update, but is still clearly Godzilla. And I don't mind the bulk, it make him look powerful and unmovable, like he should. I'd prefer a bit of stoutness to being too thin.

Although... the hand looks oddly human. It's kinda creepy actually.

If only people were joking about their reaction to a certain KWC match. >_>

I do like the creepy hand though.

Not bad ''zilla103192'' obviously you said it still needs a lot of work but other then the slight belly which i see i think it's a cool design and an over-all nice drawing.

Nicely done, Zilla! I'm not that fond of the design overall, but you clearly have artistic talent!
