Skyfall (Bond 23) (2012)

I search for this thread and found nothing. Anyone else looking forward to the new Bond film and they released some set photos of the film:

This movie is looking awesome so far and I personally enjoy Daniel Craig as Bond. I found Quantum of Solace (2008) to be alright and rather forgettable. I hope this movie will be a improvement and next year is the 50th anniversary of the James Bond film series as well.

Shit, this is awesome! I love Daniel Craig as Bond, and I really liked Quantam of Solace. Can't wait to see the new one ^_^

I loved Casino Royale, but Quantum of Solace is easily my least favorite Bond film. So, I'm not sure what to say of this yet, but I'll still go see it since I am forever a James Bond fan.

I actually liked Quantam of Solace more then Casino Royal, although I'll admit Casino is the better movie. I just like Quantam because it fallows more similar to the basic Bond formula while still having traits of it's predicesor in it. Also, about damn time we get a new bond movie.

I personally cant watch any 007 pre-Goldeneye, mostly because it's MASSIVELY dated. But I put it above Tomorrow Never Dies and The World Is Not Enough.

SHAME on you. I just watched On Her Majesty's Secret Service for the first time a few months back and nothing about that film has aged at all. It has some of the best chase sequences (put to some of the best action music) ever put on film.

^ The chase scene music is the shizz. I love that movie (and to think it used to be my least favorite...jeesh, look what maturing does to people). I like Moonraker a lot too. Richard Kiel, Roger Moore, Asian guy who gets thrown into piano. It doesn't get much better. I do wish they would have another strange villain like Baron Samudi or Jaws...that's what makes the 70's bond flicks for me.

I like that the casting is great, it's like they're trying to make Bond BOND again. Casino Royale was pretty good and Quantum was crap, but they were shot like Jason Bourne, crack-riddled attention deficit cameramen.

Might check this out, i like Casino Royal, never saw Quantum of Solace...so this is something ill be looking forward too, although it always surprises me that they can still come up with ideas to make more Bond movies

You do know that Bond started off as books and was gritty, and Quantum is similar to You only live twice novel version, right? Before anyone starts a "Quantum made bond not bond", Ian Fleming wrote Bond as a dark moody agent that hates the nature of his work but takes pride in being effective and precise with his work. Also, the Bourne novels took inspiration from the Ian Fleming novels. People complaining about Quantum not being original bond is like Godzilla fans who grew up with the 70s super hero Godzilla and then seeing Godzilla 1985 and complaining Godzilla is not Godzilla anymore.

Anyways, I look forword to Skyfall. I am gitty that Blofield is returning.
