The first part of the movie revolves around the 7 Legendary Riders (The first 7), then they show back up to fight along side OOO, W, and Fourze against a small army of kaijins. The plot was leaked a while ago.

Also just watched Let's Go Kamen Riders. I LOVED IT. If Superhero Taisen is anything like this one, bring it on Toei.

I mean I watched Ichigou and Nigo interrupt Shocker's execution of OOO I watched it twice. Then right as things go bad, BAM V3 shows up bringing everyone V3-Decade along to the fight. Shit was cash.

Black RX was also one of the most badass, badasses to ever badass.

How Saban managed to make it into THAT, is beyond me.

Also on that note, be on the look out for "Power Rider" Toei is determined to sell Kamen Rider Merc in the states, so it's trying to westernize it a 3rd time.

I gotta admit, I loved Saban's Masked Rider as a little one. I look back on it now and can't stand it, but as a kid I just loved the idea of one transforming hero instead of five taking on evil. It helps that Black RX is one of the best Rider designs ever. I've never seen Kamen Rider Black RX (waiting for the fansubs of Kamen Rider Black to finish), but I LOVE its theme song.

I'm not. I've been watching their releases of the original Kamen Rider since April. Speaking of which, I REALLY liked the first 13 episodes. Ever since then, it's been a mostly boring, sexist series (I seriously HATE the new TRC members). It still has its moments and Ichimonji's pretty cool (whenever he's on screen), but it just hasn't felt the same since Hongo and Ruriko left.

I got into the Kamen Rider through the comic adaptation of Masked Rider, an adaptation of Black RX. People can say what they want about it, but Masked Rider had a decent concept of a scifi series, but used all the footage up and ended up not using any of Black,which should've been the first season.

Without the comic based on it, I would have never found out about Kamen Rider and became a fan of it .

The show doesn't seem to be a bad concept, just a GREAT CONCEPT executed poorly. I blame Ferbus and the relying on only the RX footage that ended it.

Why didn't they go with Black and then RX? For that season there was:

-two films
-two specials

Then RX had:
-a 3D film which might have a 2D transfer.

Throw in the other films like Shin, J and ZO and their suits of the main riders and you could have a dynamic story involving other riders from the same planet . Shin could be a subspecies of Dex's race which inspired the Masked Rider powers due to the their hulk-like transformations while ZO could be from a rival kingdom or his best friend from another world. J likewise could be from a world like the Ultramen where their true forms are of giants like in the Ultraman anime.

If the budget was far better and delved into other Riders, they could have had entire seasons devoted to these stories involving RX interacting with other Riders like himself and fighting with them, involving a scifi theme instead of the traditional mythos. The footage of KR World could have been used to put J and ZO in the same scenes in a way also.

The show was popular and had great ratings, but the lack of motivation and neglect to use the footage from the prequel made it not able to last because had Saban used all the footage I described, it would have extended the series by another 50-60 episodes with the MR storyline a huge part of the second season . Since it had ratings and possible popularity, why didn't they go on with an Black/RX2 and film more episodes in that vein?

I've only watched a great sum of OOO (12 episodes), ZO, Shin, some Kiva(6), the first 7 of Faiz , The First, the first Black and the first five of Kuuga. I've watched also Amazon consistently like three episodes in and can't wait to watch more as it just appeals to me since its so wild and its the goriest. It's also why I watched Shin, hearing it was Ishinomori's original intention for the Kamen Rider series if not the Skull Man. I would rather see a series that follows along the lines of Shin and Black perhaps a hybrid series of sorts than a pesudo Metal Hero. I'm surprised the fans didn't like Shin at all since it pretty much follows the same premise but probably better than Kamen Rider series one how you said it .

I find the fandom hypocritical at this point. They liked Kamen Rdier and Ishinomori , so why did they hate Shin? He pretty much was better than 1 for the fact that the changes are actually seen to the Rider instead of a transformable suit on convenience. And if this was his intents for the series I love it because I started to see Shin , the human, act through the "monster" instead of being out of control. I could see a series where he gains control and does cooler things like the Rider Kick or perhaps a scientist creates a device, like a henshin belt , which controls the powers with cybernetic enhancement and less painful transformation? You kill two birds with one stone, actually. Fans that love the new concpet will go along with it and older fans would accept the changes moreso. It's like Amazon but less bloody.

Kamen Rider J is an Ultraman, 'nuff said.

@Bigdog: Thing is, Saban's Masked Rider DID use footage from Kamen Rider ZO and Kamen Rider J. They just sloppily edited in the Black RX suit where those suits got screentime instead.

@Crocodile: Look up this group called Midnight Crew Subs. I can't share their links (I think), but they have decent quality subs of all of Kamen Rider Kuuga. The subs are really just fixes of the HK version out there, but they're slowly revisiting the show and cleaning them up. Have fun with Kuuga, by the way. It is hands-down my favorite KR series.
