Petition: Jeff Zornow for IDW's Godzilla

Here's the petition I wrote up for putting Jeff Zornow onto IDW's Godzilla Kingdom of Monsters as an interior artist.

It reads as follows:

"This is a petition to IDW Publishing to hire artist Jeff Zornow onto their Godzilla comic book line as an interior artist.

In general, readers of IDW's Godzilla Kingdom of Monsters have become increasingly dissatisfied with the series' artwork ever sense it's initial release. With issue #1 of Godzilla Legends, illustrated by artist and fan, Matt Frank, an example was set for what was possible with a fan of the source material working on project. That is why this petition was created; we beleive the same could, and should, be done for IDW's primary Godzilla project, Kingdom of Monsters, as we beleive it would improve the aesthetic quality of the series.

Zornow himself has expressed interest on returning to the project, and is favorably regarded by the fanhood."

No, I haven't. All the other kaiju communities I was familiar are no longer running, such as Rodan's Roost. Except maybe Twisted Kaiju Theater/Neo Monster Island, if that counts, but I'm not on the forums there

I;d prefer Matt Frank, this Zornow fellow does Godzilla's mouth a little weird...but anything is better than Santos, so signed.

Personally I find Zornow's style somewhat darker than Franks, wich would be good for KoM. I'd love to see Frank do interiors on a GaG type mini series though, something with a more classic Godzilla feel.

Hey Everyone!
Again let me THANK you all for creating and signing this petition, it warms my heart ( wich is a cold stone hhahah or perhaps a stone cold rattlesnake?), I wanted to point out a podcast I love to listen to called WRESTLING SOUP. If you happen to be into pro wrestling ( like me) and edgy / over the top humor like Opie and Anthony, then you'll prob love this show. ANYWAY at the end of the last episode from this week " A Very Soupy X-mas prt1" Host Anthony Missionary Thomas, took it upon himself to mention me and the petition! total shock to me! Was just listening to one of my fav shows and ALL OF A SUDDEN THEY WERE TALKIN ABOUT ME haha Apparently Anthony is a Godzilla fan as well!

I wouldn't mind sticking with Santos, honestly. I dislike his art style, but the only thing I actually find myself loathing about it is Steven's puffy face.

But I personally prefer Zornow's work (both kaiju and non-kaiju) over Frank's. Frank's style comes off as too smooth for a monstrous, crumbling world, imo.
