Who be this person???...anyway i understand your problems Gexostentalist, i've had those same problems. Pretty much why i decided to just drop how much realism i have envolved with my stories mainly because college is consuming up much of my free time and im ust lazy of actually doing research

skreeonk...I just lost my inspiration for Voyage...damn damn damn. I really need to put more thought in before I start posting. Now I've turned my attention to the Game of Death. I'm gonna try and keep this as close to what Bruce Lee had intended it to be, but spruce up the Tower scene with some new characters (since Inosanto and Abdul Jabbar can't reappear).

Any suggestions for:
1) What's at the top of the Tower that the Syndicate wanted
2) What should happen prior to the Tower scene.

You mean what we want to be on the top or what was originally going to be?

What you as fans would think be at the top. Bruce Lee never specifically said what was on the 6th floor, but the Korean Mafia wanted it. So...that could be plenty of different things. I'm trying to get ideas so I can continue the massive prewrite I have going.

Nothing too fictional (I.E. The Armory of the Gods, with the finest of weapons crafted from Zeus' man tears; a mythical creature), but it would help if it was creative and had some meaning behind it (maybe treasures...but what type?!)

Well he can fight with Jason Bourne (yeah i know) and when he defeats him a passage opens where the stairs where and leads him to the secret of life: Potatoes. You can change the Potato part.

Perhaps, we could have it be that the "Treasure" is actally acreture that has been kept locked up there for untold years, and has now ben unknowingly unleased due to the tower being scaled... Just an idea...

*snaps fingers* A religious statue! Made of pure gold! Yes! And the village prays to the statue, but they fear outsiders. That's why it's protected by the best martial artists in the world! But then...oh no, I won't say more. You'll have to read it on your own!

And I already solved the latter issue, so this thread is currently problem-free.

Just some general friendly advice...

Cross-genre crossovers don't work out. Believe me. I did a number of crossovers between Horror and Comedy, and it never worked - it was impossible to respect both mythos well. Going too far into the Horror aspects diluted the comedy, and too much humor made it feel more like a spoof and less like a crossover.

I have question.

For my Blackest Night installment of my saga, I was wondering how to handle The Kaiju and Wonder Woman's wedding. Should I do it as a prologue or just have it as a short story before the main event and use the prologue as a way to explain the Blackest Night prophecy?

Why, you ask?

Hook the reader by the balls. Make them want to read what happens. This establishes a setting and also is a magnet for potential readers. Then you can settle it down and let them know exactly what the protagonists are dealing with. Savvy?
