Favorite Godzilla Alien Race

Note: I'm aware the Seatopians and Futurians aren't technically aliens, but their roles are pretty similar to those of the aliens.

So which ones are your favorite? I do enjoy the Xiliens and the Vortaak, but my vote goes for the Futurians.

Well it was hard to fit Aliens From The Third Planet Of The Black Hole, same for Planet of the Apes Rejects, so I went with Vega's nickname.

God I love that cartoon. It even has Gir in it. Thats just full of win.


Anyways I know it might be an odd choice but my favorite would be actually be the Millenian. I guess what I like is that we know so little about them. Shit even Final Wars gave us some clues about what the Xillaines(SP?) are really like.

I got a kick out of the Nebula M Spacehunter roaches. Snatching bodies will always be a super-cool trait of aliens. Being able to travel through the depths of the emptiness of space, but still needing tapes to control your monsters? Priceless. Actually managing to build that much of Children's Land? Awesome. Being outsmarted by an unemployed artist? Classic. Being giant bugs? Moar classic. They're just fun.

Planet X. The Controller is one the best "human" villains in the series.

Vortaak all the way. Vorticia from GSTE and the Commander from GDAMM are awesome, and amusing.

Hm... this is a tough one. But in the end, I'll have to say the Millenian. It seems like the only one that isn't just a clone of the others, having no form human form or disguise and actually doing the dirty work itself.

Xilians for me. They were the first aliens in the series and they were fairly well thought out. And they were the only alien race in the series that had their own language (as far as we know). I just liked how precise they were, I liked their plan of deception and I'd say they were the most fleshed out of all the alien races.

I must go with the Millennian. Why? It's appearance makes it a bona fide extraterrestrial.

I guess you can say they're my favorite neither though I'm not esspecially fond of either incarnations.

Astro-era Xiliens. Everything from the visors to the spandex to the kaiju controller was awesome.

I really didn't like Final Wars Xiliens.

I'm going with the Blackhole aliens from the Showa Mechagodzilla movies. It was awesome to see the same alien species returning to continue their plans and plus, Mugal is just awesome.

The Xiliens and the Kilaks tie in for second place for me.

Gotta go with the Showa Xiliens, even though I hate using that name for the Monster Zero incarnation and prefer "Xians." They were the first Godzilla aliens I ever saw, so they left a big impression on me. They're just so classic.

I went with "The Ackholes" lol growing up they were the first Aliens i've seen in a Godzilla movie, saw Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla and Terror of MechaGodzilla way before I saw Godzilla vs. Monster Zero and Destroy All Monsters. Plus, the aliens created one of Godzilla's most epic foes.

While the Showa aliens are classic and are alot've fun, I always found the Millenians to be the most creative and interesting race in the series.
