No, but in all seriousness, it's the rarest export version of a Godzilla film, ever (next to GODZILLA 2000, which was never released at all) As far as we know, it has never been released on home video anywhere. Tamura has been trying to locate it for a while. Cross your fingers folks..

Oh, I've seen it. In fact, its the reason I want to see the international dub.

It's still hard to tell by the trailer if it was dubbed by Frontier Enterprises, or Axis International in Hong Kong (formally thought to be called Corporate Communications Ltd., aka CCL). I don't really recognize any of the voice actors, so I'm thinking it's probably a Frontier dub. William Ross confirmed years ago that his company did in fact dub the trailer, but claimed they didn't dub the movie itself.

The international version was released in Malaysia as late as 1980. I doubt it was ever released on VHS, however.

I wonder if it was ever released on home video in Asia, or if theatrical prints are still somewhere in Southeast Asia. I found a blog about someone who collects Godzilla VCDs and apparently he found a VCD of King Kong vs. Godzilla. I had never heard of this VCD so it must be somewhat rare. It would be really awesome if it was the international version, but I'm sure someone would have found out about it long ago if it were true.

I actually own the Mei Ah VCDs of Biollante,1984,and Gigan. The version of Biollante was very odd, it was a pan and scan release of the international dub. I can't remember if Gigan was pan and scan or not.

Wow...I've never even seen a pan and scan version of BIOLLANTE's international version. That is interesting actually.

I've heard of an edited version of KKvsG's Japanese cut that was released somewhere in Asia, so it's possible it features that version. I sincerely doubt the export version ended up on there. Like you said, I feel that if it had popped up, we would have heard about it by now.

I find it funny that this guy is stressing over collecting and tracking down sub par VCD's that feature VHS rips, but doesn't want the DVD's because they're "far too expensive". The hell? The GMK Godzilla he has pictured is also a bootleg..

Well I know that there is an International version of King Kong vs Godzilla,I wish that they will release the international version of the film on dvd and blu-ray in the U.S

If these were film reels, then what you would really be looking for are the audio reels; It wouldn't be necessary to find the actual film, but all of that hunting wouldn't be worth the time and effort, especially considering the restoration it would probably need, not to mention multiple sources for coverage on damaged areas of the audio, etc. At least worth it to any one who would likely have access to it.

The picture would be useful for restoring about 8 or 9 minutes of footage only found in the original 1962 version. Right now the only sources for that footage are crappy LDs and tapes. Those of you who have seen my restoration will know what footage I'm talking about, as it sticks out like a sore thumb in its present condition. Provided a decent print is found of this dub, then both the original version and its corresponding dub could be restored.
