Yes, and it's nice to search for "Godzilla" at google news and not be treated to a litany of Nissan and Baseball stories.

Kinda worried that the script will end up looking like a kindergartener's cut and paste project... >.>

Someone on FB asked Legendary if a new script was being written or if Borenstein was finishing up Goyer's touches and this was there response...

"Can't make any further comment beyond what you know at this point.
The project remains a big priority for us and we love all the questions and enthusiasm you and the other Godzilla fans bring to the table."

Make of it what you will but it sounds like the film is very important to them which is why they are taking their time on it to make it right.
I just don't get the secrecy though unless they have big plans lined up

I personally can't help but take this as good news. I was always worried that Goyer's heart and full attention wouldn't be present in this project, but his credentials instilled me with enough confidence.
But the new blood just sounds exciting. Someone who hasn't been through the gears of Movie making machine.
The dead animals in KOM are a result of high powered signals sent from aliens,to awaken the dormant monsters. Animals with similar senses are overloaded from the signal &drop dead. That way much of the world will be destroyed in prep for the invasion.

Allow me to translate.

Can't make any further comments beyond what you know at this point means, "We haven't done anything with it yet."

The project remains a big priority for us and we love all the questions and enthusiasm you and the other Godzilla fans bring to the table roughly translates to, "We have bigger things to worry about and we can't answer your questions because we haven't done anything with the project."

Uh...Never?
It's a reboot, not a skreeonk remake.

Everything's being called a reboot now so it doesn't really matter. They're pretty interchangable.

No problem, your welcome. I would like to know the author's sources though, he's apparently friends with Tull, and seemed to have a lot of inside information, I hope it's credible. Lol.

Movies getting multiple re-writes is a bad thing since most people think that is a sign that the movie sucks and they can't choose on how to make it better then the film itself ends up being worst. I remember that The Flintstones (1994) and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003) went through multiple re-writes and both movies end up being total crap.

It didnt come off as comical. It came off as whining.

I apologize if that was truly your intent, but, lets be honest, far too many people have been bitching and whining about this project since day 1, so its sometimes hard to distinguish posts like that from jesting ones.

I'm sure the film is going to be released early 2013 to late 2013.
