So I wanted to make a thread about this show. This show was amazing when it was aired. I loved everything to it as idk what words to describe it. I heard that they were plainning to end the series in 2011. Does anyone confirm it?

The series was great, and I love it when it first came out. Is it on DVD since I would like to boxsets one day?

^ Yes it is. It's been out for quite some time.

Ahh yes, back to the past Jack. One of the final best Cartoon Network original Series, that and megas xlr.
I LOVED this show, and it was a shame it ended the way it did... WITH AN UNCOMPLETED STORY!!!! ):<

I remember myself following the show, but never could see the last episodes/season... How does it end? Was it canceled before having a conclusion to the story? I readed that both Jack and Aku ended fighting without using the sword and the magic, but it wasn't the last episode.

The last ep was him about some baby.

@Hellspawn: When was that confirmed? I heard other people said that they are using the same art style as it was in the show. And if they are doing the movie then who is going to be AKu's voice since Mako died. I prefer if they choosed the person that did Iroh from Avatar the last airbender.

It's not a live action movie, btw. It's a feature film to finally finish the series. But it's a fantastic series. Great use of editing and a beautiful and unqiue art style. Genndy is probably the best in the field right now.

I have 3 of the 4 seasons for DVD, I got them all under 20 a pop.

Wow, under 20 a pop? Thats win in my book.
Samurai Jack was one of those little gems that come around every so often, and for a show like that, I would never look twice at.
But then I saw it, and was hooked.

I haven't seen this in years. When it first aired I wasn't really interested in watching, but caught a couple of episodes after seeing what the team did with the Star Wars Clone Wars microseries.

It was an epic show, I have to admit, although I used to get annoyed with it often when the claims of it being the only good CN show came up. I've always been annoyed with Cartoon Network complaints in general, to be honest, because most of them are simply "Wah! The shows I like got cancelled, therefore all the new ones are shit!" though I do agree with the anti-live-action thoughts.

Well I'm rewatching the show right now and I gotta say the music score is quite good.

I only watched a few episodes but it had a great cinematic feel to it. Just like his Clone War show (the good one).

Well thanks to the power of the library I decided to rewatch the series and so far it's pretty good.

The episode with the Norseman Bato REALLY touched me, and a slight tear went across my face. Yeah... I'm that manly! Lol

I won't lie, it was one of Cartoon Network's greatest shows. My father and I watched through the series recently on Boomerang, and I think its safe to say, this was an absolutely fantastic cartoon show. Really is one of the best shows I can remember from my childhood.
