What monsters in each game do you have the most trouble defeating? Can refer to any Godzilla fighting game.

I have a lot of issues fighting Destoroyah in DAMM and a lot of my continues are lost to him. Any tips on fighting him?

Used to have trouble with Mechagodzilla in DAMM but that's it.

With Destroyah, just be on the look out for his energy bar, wait for him to waste it so that he can't use the sword, that's when you take the chance to give him a beating, when he's got full bar, just throw stuff at him.

Gigan used to give me HELL on Monster of Monsters, till I realized you just had to keep punching at him when he tries his buzzsaw and he'd stay back.

Ghidorah's always tough on MOM.

MechaGodzilla at the end of DAMM is cheap as hell.

Anguirus can be a pain in Daikaiju Kessen on SNES

Megaguirus annoys me on STE

Mechagodzilla in DAMM. He was a bitch for me. I also always had trouble with Megaguirus in Unleashed. She, for some reason, was hard to hit. Punches and kicks were easy, but the combos/special moves were hard for me to connect. Other than that, it depended on what character I was playing with. In DAMM, I became really good playing as Rodan. When I fought Destoroyah, I always lost at least one round, a lot of times without getting in more than one hit. The AI was almost impossible to trick; flying attacks were useless. So most of the time, it basically came down to who I was playing as. In DAMM, I had a gameplay book. I had to study the strategy in the book much more than in Unleashed.

Poor mom :(

For me, the BIGGEST pain in the ass was MechaGodzilla in DAMM. Cheap bastard.

Thanks for the tips, GX3! Hopefully I can try them out tonight.

When I first bought STE I remember Anguirus being impossible. Now he's as close to my punching bag as you can get.

I've also always found Gigan's teleport ability a bit cheap.

You have to use gaurd a lot and inch your way towards her before punching. If her spirit bar starts rising fast then either gor for broke or get out of there. Also I tend to pick up at least two full energy pickups, one green, and one yellow and try to find one that makes you take no damage for a short time that activates as soon as you pick it up. Try to do as much damage as you can before your energy is at 200. Once at 200 get the F out of there and pick up more items.

Mechagodzilla and Destroyah (Either them would always knock away my continues) in DAMM

Mothra and Megaguirus in G:U. They're not really hard to beat, but they refuse to skreeonk die. Mothra has like precog since she knows whenever m going to beam spam her and uses her powder.

Megaguirus in G.U. She's just too freakin' hard to attack. She keeps using defense attacks, and I just get pissed off by her.

She's not in DAMN. It is possible to kill her while she's still a larval but you have to be quick and keep stunning her before she can recover.

MechaGodzilla II and Destoroyah in DAMM: My strategy is to attack like crazy with No Mercy and Avoid them when the opportunity is available.

In Unleashed: i havent had problems with particular monsters but Mothra is a little annoying.

This. Seriously, Biollante is the only monster in the whole game that I cannot defeat without having to retreat at some point during the battle to restock my items. I think I've managed to beat her in one go once, but she's still a bitch to fight.

That's the whole point, you're supposed to retreat and restock.

I've only played DAMM and GU soooo...yeah. The toughest for me in DAMM is easily Mechagodzilla II, followed by Destroyah and then Megalon. The hardest in GU is Megaguiras just because of how hard it is to hit her in the air.
