I know I said I'm done but I just have to say this.

1: You act like being sick makes Godzilla's beam less powerful. It doesn't. It's still an atomic skreeonk death ray.

2: So what if Godzilla is sick? It's still Godzilla. If you're fighting a bear and it's sick would you slack off? Hell no because it's still a skreeonk bear. Same thing here, it doesn't matter that he's sick, it still skreeonk Godzilla one of the most powerful Earth monsters ever and even sick he still spammed his beam like he wasn't and he still has aim just as good as when he isn't.

So sick or not he's still dangerous, he's still going to give you hell, he's still going to be hard to beat let alone kill, he's still gonna kick your ass and his death ray is still a skreeonk death ray and his aim is still good.

I know for a fact that IR said the same thing earlier, Godzilla is still dangerous even when sick, he's still gonna be a hard fight and he's death ray is still just as powerful as when he's not sick.

And considering the fight ended in a draw I say Biollante did a pretty damn good job especially considering she was fighting something that spams a weapon that cuts through her like a hot knife through butter. The battle could have ended up being worse.

Now I'm done.

I agree with you expect being sick means you have less stamina and what would be a normal chor takes more energy from you plus we know that the ANEB had zapped atleast some of Goji energy prior to the fight.

Well Bio. had to somehow go from the water she was in where she ya know DIED then had to wait for the pretty shiny things to fall out of the sky so she could come back to life then she had to dig herself out of the ground! I think by your logic she was pretty well exausted in her own right so I'd say that evens it out by this logic. :eh:

1. Bio was the shiny things.

2. For a kaiju digging herself out of and the ground and being a plant wouldn't take alot of energy.

3. Godzilla has a bacteria inside of him that was created to zap his energy.

4. One dose of said bacteria should have been enough to use and Goji took 3 shots.

You pretty much said exactly what I hoped you would say right there...Bio is IMMORTAL the shiny things also went away when she "died" again which means shes still floating around out there somewhere. Therefor she is not overrated.

Am I the only one who thinks the immortal thing is not to be taken literally but just meant to say she is really hard to kill once and for all?

Biollante sound clip

Postby tlear0412 » Sat Nov 24, 2012 11:55 am

Hello all. Anyone have any ideas where I might find a clean version of the Biollante roar in audio file format? Need it as a sound effect for another Godzilla clip in my portfolio.

Searching YouTube but not too much luck yet, I'll keep at it. Thx for any help on this. Cheers.

Biollante is one of those monsters who I hopes doesn't return, just because she was used so effectively in her original movie that can't help but feel any future attempts would muck it up. The change from the Rose form, incredibly non-menacing and over-matched, to the raw and powerful final form is great. Interesting power set, and she pioneered range combat in the franchise before it started to become stale in the 1990's from overuse.

Also, nice to see another distinctly female monster in the franchise for a change.

I agree completely. There was a conversation in another thread (I think a couple of months ago) in which someone made a good case for how a relatively effective new Biollante story could be written, to reflect more modern political and scientific concerns, but it would have to be something pretty special not to end up diluting the original - or at least paling beside it.
Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.

I don't know...Maybe in a novel or something...But it would have to be a quality effort.
