So who here watches his reviews? Got done watching his impersonation of Mr. Wisseau. And it was comedy gold.

I'll quote what I said on the old forum:

GotengoXGodzilla wrote:He's my favorite on-line personality right now. He always knows how to make shit like Garbage Pail Kids seem funny. My favorite episodes are Batman & Robin, Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie, Pokemon: The First Movie, Quest For Camelot, Top 11 F*ck-Ups and Good Son.

Add The Adventures Of Sonic The Hedgehog, The Room and Top 11 Disney Villains to that list.

And yeah, I still think Kickassia was pretty bad. It was nice to see everyone together, but outside of that, its not very entertaining.

This. Anyway, Doug's funny but sometimes I can't tell whether or not he grasps the idea of escapism or using imagination for specific things. I mean not EVERY little detail in movie has to be explained in it. I also can't help but wonder why compare children's TV shows and movies to oscar winning material? I can understand quality and all that, but some of them are just out to entertain their primary audience, not win awards.

Congo so deserved getting ripped on.

I hope he reviews "Spawn (1997)" soon. I think his Flintstones review should be funny though.

Even if certain things are made just to entertain, that really doesn't excuse them for not putting effort into the film or making something that is completely nonsensical.

I liked Kickassia. It's awesome that they actually went to Molossia, and simply for the fact that Molossia is a real micronation. Plus it was pretty funny.

The Tommy Wisseau show was just hilarious. I'm not sure if there's a single review I didn't like, though there are some that I don't love.

Also, can this be made into a general TGWTG.com thread? Cause I've been keeping up with Linkara's History of Power Rangers.

Strange, every review I've seen (which is most likely all of them) there is some effort put into it and there is usually some story to it with some degree of sense. I think it's more or less the perspective one would watch them in or something along those lines. Just sayin'.

I don't see why people make a big deal if he reviews 2000's movies. I think the Early 2000's (2000-2001) can be Nostalgia if you ask me.

Very good point. :P (I seriously distaste these chin smilies!) Although as far I could tell there was a plot, even if it was overly basic: Guy wakes up, he's in a party, meteors start falling, the main cast runs around while weird crap goes on, they activate an ancient artifact, everything goes back to normal.

I was frozen today!

Love the site, Doug is a genius with his videos, I mainly liked the rivalry with him and James, the AVGN.

I would love to see him review "Digimon: The Movie", but too bad it will never happen.

Who's the say? He's reviewed the Pokemon movie, and the Power rangers movie. He reviews a good deal of animated films too. Mention it enough times and he may do it.

I love the top 11 videos. On the Top 11 hottest animated woman, I have to agree with that list.

I love watching him review movies that I've seen. For some reason makes it funnier.
I was mentioned in the SciFi Japan article about the appearence of extras on the Godzilla vs. Megalon DVD.

It was good, but I don't think the Indiana Jones references were necessary. I mean not only because they have the same writer but the Phantom was an action hero in the comicbook Golden Age so some stupidity is too be somewhat expected and to be honest isn't that genre what Indiana Jones came from to begin with? As far as I'm aware they did set the Phantom in his own day in age, you really can't look as this as simple 90s movie rather see it as something faithful to the old stories. I'm also surprised he never mentioned the fact that the ring also grants immortality (the reason WHY he's called the Phantom). He treated the Jade Skull steeling scene a lot better than I thought he would.

"Death by cannon ball!" *is kiled by cannon ball* "Fatality"
