Godzilla Trading Battle

Anyone play this before? I knew about this game for years, and from what I have seen that this game has similar gameplay to the Digimon card game for the PS1.

I have beaten the game, believe it or not. The thing is, I didn't even know what I was doing, since it's in Japanese. It's actually quite fun! This is the only game in which you can beat Spacegodzilla with Little Godzilla, btw.

It also the only Godzilla game with monsters from Rebirth of Mothra, and other Toho movies. And the first game to have Zilla (The American Godzilla) in a video game.

I don't think a rom for this engish game was ever made. The best you can do is buy a copy of it on Ebay along with a Japanese PSX.

The game still looks very fun. The game was never release in the US because most of the Godzilla heisei movies, and the Rebirth of Mothra movies where not release at the time in the US.

A remake for the DS would be cool since it been over 10 years since this game cameout, and we have more Toho monsters now. Too bad this game was never release in the states since I always wanted a Godzilla game for the PS1 or N64 when I was a kid.

ROMs are created from cartridge based games you'd need a disc image to play the game.

I thought you where talking about Rebirth of Mothra for a moment lol. I seen many ROMs of PS1 games before like Digimon World 1-3, and Final Fantasy games before. The best way to play this game is to buy on Ebay, and use a fan made guide to help you out.

I hope we get a new game similar to this one someday on the DS, or 3DS.

They're probably images of the disc which I guess could sort of be considered a ROM.

Here the artwork for the cards in the game. The artwork looks rather awesome looking, Gigan looks pretty odd looking though.

The Playstation store has recently started adding Japanese PS1 imports. Maybe in time they'll add this game, perhaps for his 2012 film.
