Godzilla Giant Monster March RPG

If you've looked at some of the latest pages on The Great Toho War Discussion thread, you would have read that I was planning to make a RPG surrounding the Godzilla Universe. At this point, I'd say the project is about at 5.2% finished. At the moment, I've confirmed these monsters to be in the game:

For now, I'm adding a poll for what you guys think the title should be. The first three up there are names of other Godzilla games that I think would fit for the game, and any ideas you submit will be added too. This will run for two weeks, and then if I get any submitted plots for the game, I'll put that up as the next poll.

Okay, I'll add that to the poll soon. Since I recently put this up, I think I'll just add up the votes for it and the others at the end of the week, then add it to the poll officially. Anyways, I've confirmed Mechagodzilla II (heisei) and Mecha-King Ghidorah. The battle system will start to be worked on more heavily once I've reached 25% of the game, which might be this weekend. I'll also be checking to see if I can give the 1st demo then, but if I can, you'll just be exploring the 1st map as the battle system is just not ready for use yet.

Update: It's going to take a while to work on the battle system as I'll need to use some testing to get the sprite sizes and animations in the right sync. That might take a week to work on.

Update: I am happy to say that Burninggodzillalord has allowed me to use his sprites. I want to take this moment to thank him greatly. Now, I'd like to confirm Orga, Spacegodzilla, and Titanosaurus will be in the game.

Update: I think I will be ending the poll now. So far, nothing has changed for a while and if that's how it will be going for the weekend, it would be wasting time for other polls I could submit. So for now, I will call this project Godzilla King of the Monsters: Giant Monster March- a combination of the two lead names. Now, I will get on with what the main enemy should be. And no, Spacegodzilla WON'T be up there.

Update: I have the first demo ready for release. Sadly, I'm not too sure of a good system to distribute it with.

Update: Since this poll ended in a tie, the main villian has been deceided to be Ghidorah (due to his popularity) but Bagan will still be a major enemy.

I am here to give you guys an update on my RPG. Progress on it is at 45%. This is what has been accomplished-
1. I got the battle system working last night.
2. All of the monsters have been scaled.
3. 4 more monsters have been confirmed, but they will remain a secret.
4. Another world map is in works (30%-55% completed)

Additional information will be given on TGTW wiki.
I plan on having this released by Christmas THIS year.
I still need:
1. Soundtrack (if one isn't created, the music already in the game will be used)
2. Backgrounds (for the battle scenes)

Now, instead of another poll, I am taking requests for monsters you would like to see in it.

In a way, it will work similar to Pokemon games, so it will feature random enemy encounters, leveling up, bosses, etc. Other than that, there isn't really a way to describe it yet.

I am pretty psyched for this. Big fan of the Pokemon games, so that just adds on to my excitement. Awesome, can't wait to try it. Oh and I would like to see Varan (didn't see him on the list), and/or Gorosaurus.

Well, if I get permission, I might be able to get a sprite for Varan, but Gorosaurus might be a problem as I don't know anyone who has made a sprite for him.
EDIT: I need submissions for plots in the RPG (I couldn't call it one without a plot) once I get enough, I'll create a poll. For now, I'll set up a poll to reveal one final monster. The rest will be found once you play through it.

Well, I'll make sure to give him credit if I use some. Anyways, I have made progress on some backgrounds for the battles, and a few world maps. If possible, I will be telling more info on the maps around 11/30, when they are nearing completion. I won't tell anything else as I want a few suprises here and there if possible.
