I actually have more trouble with Rodan against MG.

Anyway, I'd talk about Final Fantasy dungeons that pissed me of, but I'd be here all night then.
So I'll stick with bosses.
Archeaovius from Final Fantasy V.
Mother skreeonk.
He changes his weakness whenever he wants, you have to kill him twice without any breaks, and he can skreeonk your whole party with magic spells.

So I just beat the hidden Lord Vorselon boss battle in Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time last night. Goddamn. Now I know how Burt Gummer felt in Tremors 2 when he said "I am completely... out... of ammo. -pause- ...That's never happened to me before." Granted, I didn't COMPLETELY run out of ammo, but I used up all the USEFUL stuff. When you're carrying 16 weapons, and 12 of them are empty by the end of a firefight with a single enemy... yeah. Was great for leveling them up, though.

Shockwave in Transformers: DOTM gets honorable mention. I played the entire campaign on hard and never had trouble with any of the bosses..except him. Right at the beginning of the battle he speed blitzes me and instantly knocks out my health except for a little sliver and sends me flying out of the area....right into the damaging moat of liquid nitrogen.

Attempt number 2, I manage to evade his speed blits only for him to march right up to me and grab my head and hold his blade up to my neck. Here you need to tap the X button or the A button to escape, I forget which. I failed to tap the button one last time and he skewers me with his blade and kills me. The Autobots who come and help you cant do jack shit since he just picks them up like toys and flings them into the walls which apparently makes them disentigrate.

If Shockwave was like this in the film, Im pretty sure hed flatten Nest, Sentinel, and all the Autobots by himself =\

Oh my god.
I just played through the Moore forest in Final Fantasy V and it was skreeonk.
There was a random encounter nothing short of every step, the enemies were probobly the most writhing so far in the game, and the boss violates you like Godzilla 1998 violated the name "Godzilla"

And it pisses me off that they didn't. He's so badass, but he just ends up dying an average death and that's the end of it. (same with the police car decepticon, who--until my friend pointed out--was barely even noticeable).

Yeah Dark Soulds isn't exactly supposed to be an easy game. They designed it to make you struggle to beat it.

I always thought the battle with Zeus in God of War 2 was hard as hell. Made me almost broke the X button on my controller.

Didn't play number 2 but the 2D arena fight with Zeus in GOW3 took me alot of do-overs to do. They did a really good job on making his AI hard to predict. Widdling down his health was very rewarding.

I first started the ladder. No luck of Motaro . Then i saw Motaro in story mode in the background in shao kahn's arena. Happy face . Then he was killed -sigh-

He's easy if you can get into a rhythm on UMK. Same goes to Shao Kahn....they can still whoop your ass even if you do know the best techniques and combos (always jump punch and then go into a combo; you'd be amazed at how much more that helps).

As for Goro in the first MK...i hate his guts. I CANNOT beat him. i beat him the first time i went through the game (actually beat it without losing at all), but now i just cant do it...WTF?

Shao Khan from Mortal Kombat(2011), Abyss from Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 and Alpha from Dead or Alive 4. Don't you just love cheap, spamming fighting game bosses?

I managed to beat Jaquio from the original Ninja Gaiden (1988), and OH MY GOD, he should have been the final boss. Not the second phase of the final battles!



His fireballs are a pain to dodge, and they'll even follow you around! The third phase was a cakewalk, but the second phase was not. Ninja Gaiden is a fun game to play, but I had to use save states to beat it at times! It's challenging.
