I got the chance to play the 3DS for three mins before Gamestop close. What's so special about the 3D since it feel likes you are watching a fuzzy image and I thought it was real 3D without the glasses? It looks like you are watching a movie with the glasses and I don't like that at all since it makes your eyes hurt.

Hellspawn you probably wheren't in the sweet spot you have to have your head positioned just right in order for the 3D to work if not then it'll look blurry.

Indeed, and either way the graphics are impressive for a handheld, you can turn off the 3D anyway.

The graphics for SSF4 look the same as they do on the PS3/360. I play it for a bit and it seems like the move set's are much easier. I don't think it will top "Tekken: Dark Resurrection" as the best portable fighter if you ask me.

Not graphic wise but I do find it having more replay value though.

Is it true that DS games look worst on the 3DS since I hear some people saying that the backward compatibility is shit?

The screen resolution is supposed to be shit. Makes things look a little fuzzy apparently. There's a way to set it to the same size as a normal DS screen, but then you are left with a giant black border around the screen that's just unused. I don't know why this happens, because the DSi XL handled the larger screen size almost perfectly.

regular DS games have to be scaled up a bit because the 3DS's screen resolution is higher than any of the DS's and the top and bottom screens are different sizes. so you can either play it scaled-up or you can play it at the same size as the old DS screen. to be honest, it looks fine. the enlarged version is slightly worse than regular size but that's to be expected. remember playing Game Boy Color games on a Game Boy Advance? it's pretty much the same thing, except instead of being stretched out it's enlarged.

trust me though, it's really not even an issue. it doesn't look that bad. I usually play it at DS-screen-size though because the black border doesn't bother me, and I don't see why it should bother anyone else since it's just empty space.

so pretty much, you can't have everything. if you want a higher screen resolution you have to sacrifice a little backwards compatibility.

Is the black border window boxed ie black boxes on all four sides? or is it normal borders on the left and right of the screen?

I really want two games for 3DS. If these two games get released as well as Monster Hunter 3DS then I could die happy. Tatsunoko vs Capcom and Sonic Adventure 2.

it's hard to explain but I found an article that shows you both modes (stretched and un-stretched).

I was able to play the 3DS for a half of a hour at my Gamestop today, and I do admit that the 3D is a lot better then I thought. The 3D does really feel like 3D without the glasses, and it reminds me of those 3D images cards that they had back in the 90's.

I'm getting my 3DS next month I've made up my mind. Also preordering OoT 3D from Amazon in the next few days.

Okay, this is some cool shit, man.

That little thing with the question mark on the main menu that has that thing in the box? Tap on it and it will tell you what to do.

The character cards? With Toon Link, Pikmin, and Mario? You can take pictures of the characters in 3D.

The cards are pretty cool and I wish I can get Netflix to work since I keep on getting a error message.
