Sorry Ct Aktion. I wasn't directing my comments at you directly. I was directing my comments sarcastically at sellers that steal from alot of these professional garage kit companies and make recast and try to pass it off as if they designed them. 98% of kaiju kits on ebay are recast and come from China, Taiwan, Mexico, and Philippines.

Alot of collectors that are not as familar with kit collecting usually tend to think the word recast is another word for reissuing of an original. When in fact recast in the kit collecting world means bootleg. So many some how think these kits are legitmate.

Oh, how nice of this ebay seller to recast (bootleg) Shinzen original resin kit of both GMK Goji and Mothra and steal Shinzen original diorama idea of combining them together as a fight scene. It's even nicer that the seller is offering these bootlegs at a 1/3 the fraction of the cost of the original Shizen kits.

Apparently bootleg Godzilla vinyl toy figures are looked down apon. But bootleg kits are ok, wtf.

They would be 25 feet tall.

1/4 scale is approx 12-13 inches, not 25 feet.

Oh shit... I was thinking 1:4 scale.. where every inch is 4 inches on the real deal. lol my bad.

Well, since we're currently speaking about bootlegs, I saw this on ebay which just so happens to be a bootleg of the Godzilla 2000 electronic set.

Also, if anyone is interested, here are some great prices of some bandai godzilla figures for anyone who uses ebay.
An Orga Bandai figure with tag.

The Godzilla X Megaguirus Set.

And finally a Godzilla 2000 theater exclusive.

It's really the Godzilla of the set as I heard that there was a bootleg of it with the spines backward and without the electronics in it. I don't know anything about if there is an Orga bootleg. But I could be wrong, which is probably the case, as now that I look at it, it would be possible for the spines to be put on backwards, and if so, then I messed up on my accusation.

Hard to tell looking at that angle of the picture. But I will take a stab at it. It's the 1996 Gamera by X-Plus that was released on a bubble card in 2001.

Hm. I already have the XPLUS one but this one looks more rounded.

EDIT:
Seller confirmed itts an X-Plus Gamera 1996. Since I already have it, I passed on it.

What's a no-no? Promoting my auctions? Why is that? In this topic's a heck of eBay auctions linked. Why am I not supposed to link to my own ones? Especially for it includes some real interesting stuff for collectors. If I'm infringing the forum rules, I'm sorry. Please forgive me then and delete my post, but I still don't understand. Please explain to me.

Eh... I think his case is passable. He told us that he is selling Kaiju stuff on ebay.

Arbok dis-approves of selling things through the forums specifically. But I could be wrong.

^Yeah, I mean no disrespect, but I do think this topic is for pointing out auctions that aren't necessarily yours. I mean, if you hadn't said they were your auctions, then no one would've even known anyhow, but I'm not a mod. Arbok can handle this one if he thinks it's improper.

Welcome to the forums Petezilla. Good to see you on here also. :D I checked and I did not see anything in the FAQ that mentions a member cannot post a link to their own ebay seller account. But if there is an unwritten rule, then hopefully this will please the mods and everyone else.

Wow! look at this seller stuff. He has some interesting and cool Ultraman stuff for sale on ebay!

http://www.ebay.de/sch/luepete3186/m.ht ... 4340.l2562

Now we are good, lol.

Just a fyi, I know Pete from another forum. He's a good guy and he can bring alot to the forum about kaiju toys especially the Ultraman stuff.

First, I didn't intend to stir up anything. I haven't seen a rule in the forum quidelines, that forbids to do what I did with sharing my eBay auctions. Therefore I thought, that this topic is the perfect place to do so and possibly point other collectors to the partially rare items that I sell right now. It's of course for my own benefits but also for them to be able to add some hard to find items to their own collections. I want those items to be in the hands of real collectors rather than being bought by "normal" people who may possibly not treat these items in the way they deserve it.

Also I don't want you guys to think that I just joined TK for money-making reasons. I actually already joined several days in advance, but didn't post much of anything since then. I'm also not planning to bug anybody here, but to stay and hopefully being able to contribute to the forums. That just to explain myself.

@Kaiju no Mura: I'm grateful for your kind and welcoming words! Thank you!

EDIT: Is this site really only for the Godzilla/Gamera stuff? Or is Ultraman & Tsuburaya OK here, too? Just wanna know fpor I'm maybe just wrong here when talking about Ultraman related stuff. Just wanna know! :)

Who cares if Pete linked to his ebay auctions? It's eBay. It has nothing to do with TK. The whole point of not selling things on TK IS NOT SELLING THINGS ON TK, which he is not, he's selling on eBay.

Pete - put a link to your eBay auctions in your sig ;-)

Its a Toho site, but Ultraman and Gamera are allowed too. They just go in the media section, whereas Toho films have their own sections.

Its doesnt matter when it comes to toys and collectibles, though.

I apologize to Pete; really wasn't trying to armchair mod or anything, I was more trying to warn him before a mod dinged him or something. I'll admit, I don't know if it's okay to post your Ebay stuff here or not, I've just seen other guys get the business for doing it in the past.

Welcome Pete, hope you survive the experience, haha!
