So? Portal 2 used the outdated Source Engine. No one criticized it for that.

An engine just means you can re-route assets. It's not a hardware increase

I don't care about graphics. I was talking about the gameplay. The multiplayer is most likely still lazy and glitchy. I never thought COD had great graphics anyway.

The Source engine is so frequently updated its ridiculous. It is starting to show it's age though.The CoD games on the other hand have looked very, very similar since MW.

And it still looks pretty. Is it photorealistic? Nope. Don't think anyone playing the games really care, either. I'm not after a simulator- I'm just after a fun shooter with some guns I like.

Ya know what I don't get? Why do some people come into a thread about a game or series they can't stand and start talking shit about it? If ya'll don't like the game, leave the thread. Obviously, enough people still like the games enough to overlook their flaws at shell out $60 every half a year to buy the new one. It's no worse than Halo fans. Or SOCOM fans. Or Pokemon fans. Or the fans of any game.

I actually really enjoyed Call of Duty up to Modern Warfare (and I'm betting a lot of people who play the new ones never touched the older games). After that game, they turned it into a yearly thing by just changing the setting and weapons and calling it a new game. I rather not pay the price of a full game for what amounts to essentially an expansion pack in what they have actually added to improve upon from the last game.

And there is no need to list them, just about everyone knows and plays the games that do.

New trailer, featuring the Spec Ops survival mode. Plus a quick glimps of multiplayer.

So, things I found:
- New weapons. G36C returns. We also see the USAS-12 automatic shotgun, as well as the Magpul FMG-9 Covert Submachine gun.
- Marathon has now become Extreme Conditioning.
- Killstreaks can be reset during a match, and can now be cycled (EX: You can use your UAV before you use the airstrike)
- Possible killstreaks include AI-controlled allies, including Riot Shield Squads, Juggernauts and Delta Force troops. As well as an IED.
- The riot shield is now breakable.

Fall needs to come soon.

Nah. It just has tritium dots on its iron sights. This is some sort of "modernized" version of the M1887.

I'm loving the "Strike package" feature in this game. Caters to people like me who are more like the objective players.

I have to agree with this somewhat. That whole Dog Tag game mode that you mentioned looks idiotic as hell. I was the one that killed that person but apparently if somebody takes their dog tag then they get credit for the kill? WTF? Who the hell would want to play a game type like this? I can see alot of people camping like hell in that game mode. I also believe that they're kinda overdoing it with the killstreaks. It seems like that there's over 9000 killstreaks (pardon the bad joke). I think they need to cut down on them. Now, I like the CoD series, hell I even liked MW2 before everybody started using glitches and the game turned to crap, but goddamn is it hard for me to like this game with all the crap they're doing to it. This looks like a major disappointment.
