Deaths of superheroes/villains means NOTHING. They can always come back.

In films its typically not that. Once someone dies in a superhero movie, they normally stay dead.

Professor X in X3 would like to have a word..

So would Green Goblin.

I heard that M.O.D.O.K. will be villain in Cap 2, but I'd prefer Arnim Zola. Plus from his design, I think they'd mix them. Like Whiplash and Crimson Dynamo in Iron Man 2.

Modok has also been quite a hit among the fans from his appearances on Avengers:Earth's Mightiest Heroes ! animated series. As mentioned in this article about top ten contenders for villains in upcoming comic flicks(http://www.newsarama.com/film/top-10-villains-we-want-in-films-110601-1.html). Heck, were talking about a creature that made Dr. Doom step back when introduced to him by the Leader in FALL OF THE HULKS:ALPHA. I'm game to see the original Big Giant Head on the Big Screen.

They need to make him a serious villain since the general movie goers are just going to laugh at him for looking stupid looking. I don't think he was too bad in the 90's Iron Man movie script and I think they could work him out.

Agreed. I always wanted to know what (If any) connection there was between Red Skull & Baron Zemo. I know they both existed during the Nazi era of Hydra, but they seem to never be in the same place (Cap or the Avengers seem to be always fighting one OR the other). Admittedly I haven't read many Captain America comics, but if someone can referrence a series that might detail the history of these two villains encounters with each other, that would be awesome.

The closest thing I've seen is in the new Avengers Animated series where Zemo says something like "Let The Red Skull be remembered for killing Buckey, I wan't Captain America!"

Thor 2 could have Surtur if they are going to have Beta Ray Bill since he was the one that destroy his home galaxy. If they add MODOK then I hope they can make him a dark and serious villain. His design is so silly looking that he is hard for anyone outside the comic book fandom to be taken serious. I read the original Iron Man script from the 90's which had him the villain and he was so campy in the script. Makes me happy that movie and the 2006 movie of Iron Man where never made.

I've heard that the Powers That Be with the Thor franchise were looking at Amora The Enchantress and Skurge The Executioner as the Big Bads. Along with things not going too smoothly with Jane Foster showing up in Asgard arm in arm with Thor.

Looks like there won't be a sequel until 2014. Three years won't be bad, it will give Chris Evans some time to work on other films.

I'd think if the producers, writer, and director of the sequel to The First Avenger. They'd go for a combination of the original, and the spidery new version introduced at the end of the first story arc ,Scorched Earth, by writer Jeff Parker, and artist Gabriel Hardiman in the pages of HULK.
