Favorite and Least Guest Characters

I thought this would be a cool idea for a thread . Since Guest characters have been popular since Soul Calibur 2. What are you favorite and least favorite guest characters in video games? For me it would be, Favorite:

- Darth Maul from Star Wars, Wolverine from Marvel Comics, Kelly Slater and Doomguy from Doom in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3. I thought they where awesome to play as and I remember not believing that they where in the game when the game first came out.

- Dante in Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne. Dante being in the game got me into the series since I first hear about the series back in 2006 on the Wikipedia. I also liked that he fits well into the game and series since he is a half demon and a demon hunter. I would still love to see him return in another game one day or have a new demonic guest character.

- Link and Spawn in Soul Calibur 2. The gamecube version made me became a fan of the Soul Calibur series and I also enjoy playing Spawn on the Xbox version. He was a cool choice and I liked his design. I also able to learn all of his combos as well and I also enjoy Heihachi in the game. Link was the perfect guest fighter in the soul series IMO.

- Spider-Man in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2. I remember playing as him on my Friend's N64 version of the game. Most people did not like him as a guest skater but I found it fun.

- Solid Snake and Sonic in Brawl. I thought having Snake in the game was a big surprise and Sonic finally give us the Mario vs. Sonic fight that we waited over 10 years for. I always wanted a 3rd party character in Smash Bros as well.

Least:

- Cole in Street Fighter X Tekken. I don't know why Capcom put him in the game. The game is already big crossover and having someone like Cole makes no sense.

- Kratos in MK9. I feel like that he was a perfect choice for the series but I did not like his gameplay. I wish he had better fatalities and did not move so slow.

- Vader and Yoda in Soul Calibur 4. I found it pretty random to be in the game and could have been much better choices. I did like having Vader vs Nightmare in a match though.

I like all guest characters in games. I never really understood why characters "not fitting" mattered.

Link is the reason I even got into Soul Calibur in the first place. I rented SCII one day and had no clue Link was in there until I saw the select screen. Every since then I've been playing SC, kicking ass with Talim, Nightmare, and Voldo.

I love Link's grapples, my favorite is the one where he does a flip while holding on to their arm, and you hear bones breaking before he smakcs them in the back of the head with his sword. Many a match was won by using that knockout in adventure mode. His ass spanking one is FN funny too.

Me too! I did win a lot of matches like that! I also love the one in which he rolls with the opponent on the ground and then Hammerfists his opponents face.

Spawns pretty badass too. Just a shame they had to reduce his cape to being an Ax. I understand why, his cape would complacate things but still. I forgot but who was OK with Freddy being in MK9? I was and I can't wait till Jason is added in as a future DLC (mark my words it will happen!)

Did you have fun with Freddy's fighting style? I'll admit, I hate him but even I think his gameplay is fun.

And yeah, Jason and Cyber-Smoke better be future DLCs. Hell I'd even take Cyber-Jason.

I never did get a chance to play as what's his name in the PS2 version of Soul Calibur 2, the Tekken guy.

Heihachi, he's a pretty cool Tekken character, but he's rather lacking in SC, doesn't feel as special.

I was like "You so silly" but I googled it and you're right. That's very interesting, so the PS3 version should of had Kratos. XD
