I want to see the Remake... but ill be honest i wasn't a real fan of the original so if they do something different it might be for the best in my opinion but i can understand why fans of the original might hate it.

Though the 3D shit for movies like this is ridiculous, It's bad enough i got to pay 10.50$ for 2D an now they want to get me for near 15$ for 3D on a movie that doesn't need it? Sorry ill be the cheap ass an watch it online.. but whatever im a fan of Colin an the cast so my hopes are high it'll be at-least decent.

Do you see movies just out of personal interest? Or do critics decide it all for you?

I do see movies with personal interest depending on the film. Movies like this and Rise of Planet of the Apes, I had no real plans on seeing until I see how well the reviews are.

Turning Peter Vincent into mindfreak? You went too far today.

If you consider turning an awesome 80's horror comedy into Teenage dribble featuring vampires and unnecessary changes as screwing up, then yes they did.

I knew it!

The movie open up to #6 this weekend and only making 8 million.

I think not to many people really care for this movie but the word of mouth is good which could help the movie. I'm debating to see this next week or wait for Apollo 18 instead.

Just got back from seeing Fright Night and it was really good. It stay really trueful to the original, had good effects and had some new good parts also the acting was good so i would highly suggest watching it. I give it a 4.5 out of 5.

I'm bumping this because I just watch this movie tonight and it was really fun. I hear the remake was good and it looks like they are right about the movie. While I like the original more, I think the remake was pretty close to the original. The movie was pack with good action and funny humor that it's worth checking out for a movie night. My biggest issue is that some scenes are way too dark to see (It could be the red box DVD) and I think the characters could have been better. Definitely worth a second watch.
