But i still stand by the fact that GMK Godzilla has regeneration, just very very slow regeneration. It took him 50 years to regenerate his body, but he eventually did it. The spirits simply influenced Godzilla's mind once his body was completed again. And if that shot at the end of the heart wasnt to show that Godzilla would be back again, then what was it?
Well of course he has "regeneration". Every living organism has some kind of "regeneration". I'm not talking about that kind of regeneration, I'm talking about the regeneration that Godzilla is known for. The kind of regeneration that GMK Godzilla does not have.
As for the heart being shown at the end, it's saying that the character of Godzilla will live on forever, but that doesn't necessarily mean that that Godzilla will live.
The enemies he fought (besides monster X) may not have been the most powerful ones, but the way he dispatched them was a testament to his sheer power.
...What power? He got rid of Gigan, Hedorah, Ebirah and Zilla the same way: by firing his beam. A beam which has little to no explosive force behind it. It's mostly kinetic force, as in it just pushes things. To me, that's not an impressive beam. Rodan, Anguirus and King Ceasar basically knocked themselves out, with Godzilla doing next to nothing. The only "impressive" thing he did was throw Kumonga, but that doesn't make GFW Godzilla anymore powerful than any other Godzilla.
And his beam... he destroyed an asteroid in orbit with it and shot monsters all over the place with the force of it.
No, he didn't blow up the asteroid. It crashed into Tokyo. That's why there was a huge ass crater. And yeah, he shot things, but those things could have been defeated by a sneeze.
As I said, GFW Godzilla's beam sucks, because all it does is push things, and has almost no explosive force. The fact that it killed a bunch of kaiju just means that those kaiju's durability is terrible.
And as i said, he is quite as bent on destruction as GMK Godzilla, but hes not far off. He relentlessly followed the Gotengo and did not stop fighting in the movie until the very end. I can only imagine the devestation he caused before he was imprisoned in ice. So there. Hes not only ridiculously powerful, but has a vicious desire for destruction.
Who says that he wanted destruction? If anything, he wants revenge on the Gotengo for imprisoning him in the ice.
GFW Godzilla is not destructive. At all. He can't cause much destruction already, and only wants revenge on the Gotengo for most of the film.
