What's the point of saving the world just to destroy it? Remember the computer simulation from "Destoroyah"? Without time to prepare the freezing masers and such, Godzilla would explode unchecked and pretty much destroy the world...

Godzilla GMK: Strong enough to shrug off an attack, but nimble enough to maneuver as well. Plus, atom-bomb breath.
Mothra '03: Intelligent as any Kilaak, and actually cares that the world is at stake. Energy-diffusing magic dust to counter beams.
Rodan '56: Supersonic air-support.
Anguirus (Showa): He has the armor to protect him until he gets in close, then he'll tear into you like a building-sized rottweiler.
Baragon (Showa): Because burrowing could prove useful, and he can hold his own in a fight as well.

While Godzilla and Anguirus take the frontal assault route to grab the Kilaaks' attention, Baragon is approaching their base at his absolute maximum burrowing depth. He quickly digs out a wide tiger-pit style trench in front of the enemy defenders, allowing them to drop hundreds of feet straight down as they rush out to meet Godzilla/Anguirus. The heaviest of the monsters (especially the mechs) are likely to suffer catastrophic, if not crippling, damage due to the force of their sheer mass. Meanwhile, Mothra and Rodan are distracting the flyers, weaving around them at great speeds, taking quick potshots at them, and generally disorienting them so it is difficult to coordinate. Godzilla and Anguirus begin beating the hell out of injured enemies that crawl out of Baragon's pit, while Baragon himself has tunneled beneath the Kilaak base. He carves out a series of crisscrossing tunnels, weakening the ground beneath one half of the base and allowing it to sag, putting huge amounts of stress on the middle of the structure, which he then attacks repeatedly from beneath with his heat-beam. Finally, the Kilaak base snaps in half, destroying the aliens' equipment and cutting their monsters off from the control signal. Now these freed monsters can chose to stay and fight, or get the hell out of Dodge. For those that chose to stick it out, there's one massive melee waiting for them.

Good lord..I somehow missed that the Kilaaks had SpaceGodzilla, Grand KG, AND the U.N. Mechagodzilla under their control...that's freakin' overkill.

I was going to make a Showa-only team, but then realized they wouldn't stand a chance against that combination.

Dogora was destroyed by human weapons, turned into several little Dogoras. If a rocket did that, a beam from Mothra or Fire Rodan will tear the jellyfish apart.
