Having Gary Busey, Christopher Lloyd, Robert Pine, and David Koechner in the movie is awesome though. I still have yet to see the first one, I want to see it in 3D but I don't think my HD TV can support it. I hate watching 2D movies where they where obviously in 3D.

What I meant is how it could be a nodd toward Jaws 3 since it's in a water park and since they already did a couple nodds toward Jaws already in the first movie like the cameo appearence by Richard Dreyfus and how the first victim in the party massacre just so happeens to be on a floatational toy, not to mention how the cover is similar to Jaws.

I may sound like a sick bastard for saying this, but I love the gore in Piranha 3D. With the technology we have it's fascinating to see what the Piranha's (and other incidents) can do to the human body in such depth. It's just one of those films where instead of supporting the cast, you look forward to seeing how they go. Hopefully 3DD proves to be just as fun

I get it. And it's still a lousy assed title. But then again, Piranha was a lousy assed movie.

What Gvamp said. This isn't a deep horror film like John Carpenter's The Thing where it's serious and you actually care about the victims and it actually is scary. Piranha is one of those cheezy horror films that pokes fun of itself and you just come for the gore and tits and don't give a damn about the characters and are just there for fun.
