Rodan's Roar: KING of the Heisei series?

I ask this only because when you watch the Heisei movies, Rodan's roar is used from King Ghidorah to Mechagodzilla (although that's because Rodan is in there, but still).
What do you think? Why was Rodan's roar used for the likes of:
King Ghidorah (distorted)
Godzillasaurus
Battra

Hopefully, one of our "in the know" members can shed some light on the reasons why Toho didn't create an original sound.

Also - can someone help me understand why Gamera's cry was used for Godzillasaurus when he was getting shelled by the US Navy?

They couldnt re-use King Ghidorah's cry from the Showa series?

I guess they wanted something with a little more balls. They should have just took the hour in the studio and made a unique call.

I dont know. The Showa cry used to scare me as a kid. Theres a certain maniacle cackle Showa King Ghidorah makes that could've worked in the Heisei version.

Can someone clear this up for me? They seem to have the same roar, and I found it confusing on who is copying who.

I swore when I saw GvM:TBFE the roars sounded subtly different but I guess I was wrong since this fact seems to be brought up constantly.
