It's a silly blunder because it is something that could have been checked so easily. Here, I even searched up "inter-pole" and the immediate correction to the proper spelling came in 0.14 seconds. This is like if your husband writes future episodes where Mugal & friends road trip to Canada and call all the provinces "states" and meet "the president of Canada". They're harmless, but indicates that the product I'm about to watch (especially when it appear so early on) was put together haphazardly.
Hell, the title cards are the apparent bit of apparent artistic flare for this mini-series; shouldn't those be the one thing that is checked, double checked, triple checked, and quadrupedal checked?
Why do some of you feel the need to over analyze and harshly criticize a fan project?. They're just low to non-budget films for entertainment and enjoyment. Enjoy them for what they are and if not then don't watch them anymore and keep nasty comments to yourself.
Being a "no budget" project isn't and should never be used as an excuse for poor filmmaking. Money and resources have nothing to do with the quality of the story telling or the specific technical abilities of the crew. Not to mention, if you produce something, the audience you present it to is free to interpret or enjoy it however they want. And if they find the use of music from
Disturbed to be goofy and distracting, silly typos, and the story to be poorly paced then that's their decision to do so.
As my husband would say, "everyone's a critic but not everyone's an artist." Yes, I am married to this "douche and a half" and yeah, I'm defending my husband but wouldn't any of you do the same for your loved one or their work? I myself have critiqued parts of his film because there were some things that i wasn't fond of either.
First of all, I'm sorry to say but your husband has a bad reputation for not responding to negative criticism (and the overall luke-warm reception to
Godzilla X Kaiju Killer) particularly well or maturely. Is "douche and a half" rude? Probably, yes. But there's a reason for it; people didn't just start calling your husband a douche because they didn't like his face. Secondly, this thread has been mostly dead and your retort was completely unwarranted.
This was pretty much a one man show. It was his vision. I only played a small roll with the costume and puppetry acting. it wasn't easy but it was loads of fun to help create.
It doesn't matter how much blood, sweat, tears, and time you pour into a film; if you don't have basics like look space and the 180 degree rule down and understood then you have a severe technical handicap that is worthy of criticism. Passion isn't a valid excuse for poor craftsmanship.
i just want Godzilla fans to have a better understanding. I think I'm done rambling and getting my point across.

What is your point? Your husband makes sub-par amateurish material. Nothing wrong with that; it doesn't even matter what other people have to say as long as he is having fun making them. But that's no reason to dismiss advice and criticism.
