Kidding of course. If they dispatch Godzilla at the end of this movie, I want something like the iceberg trap in GRA or the volcano in G84. Those were both classy ways to lock him up, without relying on ridiculous, futuristic super weapons.

As for the enemy monsters, it depends on the monster. I'll echo the sentiments of a lot of folks and say that I don't want to see Anguirus, Rodan or Mothra blown to bloody chunks (even Ghidorah, honestly)... but definitely get their asses kicked and have them slink away. At the same time, I think we'll be lucky to see even one sequel to this thing, so it really wouldn't hurt any sort of "continuity" for them to just blow the shit out of the monster.

Letting the monster get away doesn't have to necessarily mean we see the monster fly off into space or high-tail it out of town. It could be as simple as the monster appearing dead, just not exploding in a fiery ball of gore. Godzilla could chomp his neck and leave him for dead (sort of like in GRA, except he finishes him off with a nasty blast of nuclear fire). Dropping the monster may not be very satisfying, but into a volcano or off some great height would work.

That said, as much as I love the Toho stable of monsters, I wouldn't mind seeing any of the monsters get blown the skreeonk up, as long as they aren't one of the five listed above (five counting G-money himself).

I like the idea of monster exploding in firery balls of gore. But only on monsters that reall deserve it. With the vast library of monsters in the Godzilla mythos, you can afford to kill a few. Even if they NEED to come back, have someone or something either clone it or piece it back together as a Mech.

Dropping monsters into volcanoes and off great heights has been done before. But I don't think any monsters explode in a fiery balls of gore...Keiser Ghidorah Exploded, but there was no gore during the explosion, despite missing two heads...Biollante bled everywhere but didn't explode, despite being very flammable...so if you put the two together I guess you have a goresplosion...but that's still a stretch...

If it's a old classic monster like Ghidorah or Gigan, they should be captured/die depending on which one it is. If it's a new monster it should die. Almost every new monster in older Godzilla movies died in it's debut movie.

Not sure about this one. It would be nasty if Godzilla both killed his enemy or he just retreated. For some reason I kinda doubt there will be a sequel to this movie so Im thinkin hes probably just gonna kill him. And if Godzilla dies Ill be most irked.

You really think so? I dont know for some reason I just think theyre not going to. Maybe if this one does really really well, but I mean its no Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter or Twilight. I just have a feeling they might see how this one does, and givin the assumptions and stigma regarding the Godzilla movies Im not sure its going to rake in the big bucks. But who knows, it could be really good and blow up. Which would be sick, and I certainly wouldnt complain if it did turn into a series, it would finally give me a reason to go to the theaters.

Yea, i mean i dont think they wanted to go through all of the trouble of aquiring the rights to Godzilla from Toho and all the money im sure it cost for a "supposed" one and done deal. Now, if the movie does not do well in box office here in U.S then yea probably right, wont be a series. Im personally it does so can have are own series. But guess just have to wait and see
