Which was your favorite Heisei Movie and Monster?

Godzilla vs Biollante takes the cake. A fresh story, impressive special effects, and Godzilla's coolest opponent. Seeing Biollante's rose form on that misty lake is chilling, and its later transformation is easily the most awe-inspiring creature in a Godzilla film.

Godzilla vs. Destoroyah was my favourite Heisei film, and Destoroyah was a very impressive monster. However due to his general cruelty and destructiveness, I can't really put him as my favourite. That title can go to Mecha King Ghidorah. Love the robot head.

My favorite Heisei movie is Gojira '84. My favorite Heisei monster (other than Godzilla) is Gamera. My favorite Heisei Godzilla monster would have to be Biollante. I didn't pick Ghidorah or Rodan (which are my next 2 all-time favorite monsters behind G and Gamera) because they were kind of reboots, and I didn't really care for them in that series as much as I did for the Showa series.

My favorite heisei movie would have to be G84 with Ghidorah/MGII at a close second.

I'd have to say Godzilla 1984 (I really like the suit) and Spacegodzilla for favorite monsters. I like MG II, but I just find the showa version much more evil and badass.

Movie: Return of Godzilla because it returned Godzilla back to his city destroying roots and the special effects (other than the embrassing Cybot-Goji head shots) are fantastic

For me it has to be Godzilla vs Destroyah because i actually though it was a decent movie, and that end gets me all the time. Brings tears to my eyes Plus Godzilla vs Biollante would be close second.

This. It really is the only Godzilla film where it really felt like things were going to go in a different direction in terms of content, structure, and creativity in effects and design. I mean, we know how that turned out, but man, it sure was a breath of fresh air the first time around.

My favorite Heisei monster is Battra, but my favorite Heisei (and Kaiju) film is Gamera 3.
Nothing can compare, it's the most exciting movie I've ever seen.

Favorite movie would be Godzilla 1985. It's the only Heisei film I managed to watch a second time without getting bored out of my mind.

Favorite monster would be a toss up between Mothra and Moguera. And maybe Shokirus (for the sheer novelty of a mutant monster sea louse).

Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla 2. Dont really know what it is, i just really enjoy that movie. Favorite monster is Destroyah though. He kicks all kind of ass. Biollante's awesome too though. This is excluding the Gamera movies, because G3 takes the cake with that.

My favorite was easyly Battra, especially in larval form, great design, thought it didnt put up as much of a fight as Biollante or Destoroyah
