Have you guys made any decisions on what to do with banned members yet? While I admit a few have change for the most part non have not going to point out any names but it's pretty easy to figure out.

I am curious if it is possible to abolish the double posting rule in some of the Fan Fiction/Fan Art areas? Is it possible to allow it in one area but block it from others so that mistakes (Such as accidental double posting doesn't occur)?

THOUGH I totally understand your reasons for doing so and if the answer is no. That is okay. I just want when I post a new image for it to be bounced back up to the top.

Its possible, but we are trying to reduce strain on the database to improve performance. Translation: sadly, no.

We haven't made a firm decision, but so far we will probably be looking at it on a case-by-case basis. So all formerly banned members will not once again be banned, that much can be said. Still, not to name names, but two previously banned members have started to accumulate a fair number of warnings and may once again find themselves banned in short order.

A lot of links on the main site, mostly user credit, link to the old site profiles - will this be changed to reflect the new forum, or kept for archival purposes? I'm guessing the staff link profiles will all be changed though.

Similarly, most of Vega's Games link to 'Discuss' forums on the old boards - will new ones be started? (I'd be happy to do so) Or will the links be removed, or simply kept linking to the old board?

These are all good questions. In regards to the user credit, that's the one we are currently working on as it will be the hardest fix.

Not just user changes, but some users just never made the jump (which is understandable, as all forums lose some members with time). So its a complex issue, but rest assured is something that we have been keeping in mind and working at since before the forums launched.
