^ I Like the Story but with the Nuclear Waste in the coast of Japan may cause some people
bashing the movie or script that is not ok,using it for entertaiment, etc.

That didn't stop the original Gojira, or Cloverfield and its 9/11 comparisons. Godzilla was always designed to be an escapist outlet from real tragedy. I think you are right about what people would say, though.

After watching the trailer for the Spider-Man reboot and knowing that Goyer is the writer then I would imagine that they will use a similar tone that the new Spider-Man film is using. The dark tone of the Nolan Batman movies have become popular, Mortal Kombat Rebirth, Spider-Man and the upcoming Judge Dreed movie is using the same type of tone. I'm pretty sure this movie will likely as well.

I have a feeling they know how American audiences eat up those dark and gritty remakes (ie Batman, Captain America...). I know Godzilla 2012 wont be a remake per se but the big guy has a pretty bad rep amongst the general population as those goofy ass rubber suit movies from japan so Im sure they will up the grit on this one as a kind of make over. Probably not by much though, so they can still get that PG/PG13 rating (although an R rated Godzilla would be soooo bad ass). So pumped for this movie its outrageous, and I foolishly just found out about not too long ago, how I missed that is beyond me.

Irradiated Transitional dinosaur. Done. That's it. Any other origin requires excessive back story, requires further suspension of disbelief, and is prone to dumb logic errors. (IE; see the Heisei Godzilla origin).

Pretty much this. I hope the origin story in the movie will be simple, and they don't spend so much time talking about how he was made.

Basically i just want to see Godzilla have his classic origins as an irradiated dinosaur, maybe with a few modern updates, but still an atomic saurian all the same.

This doesn't have to be something that takes up 30 minutes of films just have someone say "where did it come from?" and some other guy say "while there is no way to confirm it the most accepted theory by scientits is that he's a dinosaur or a relative or something that somehow survived to today and was mutated due to exposer to fallout from nuclear tests".

There done. Doesn't take 30 minutes all it takes is 5 seconds of dialougue. Not some complacated origin story. Just a theory mentioned for only 5 seconds.

Because Dr. Yamane explains where Godzilla came from in Gojira (A species of intermediary amphibious dinosaur that occupied a specific niche on the bottom of the ocean. Atomic testing distrupted the eco-system it inhabited and forced it to the surface) and there's no reason to assume the origin for the second Godzilla would be any different. In King Kong vs. Godzilla, Godzilla gives off enough radiation when trapped inside an iceberg to simulate Cherenkov Radiation (A blue light given off by nuclear reactors) and is able to give off Geiger counters on two different occasions (Mothra vs. Godzillaand Monster Zero)
