I like to play locally or online with extra controllers. If it supports Wii remotes or Gamecube controllers, I guess that's okay but still I would rather play with the same type of controller.

I think it should ALLOW more then one pad to be used, so the people that can afford another CAN use it. But also allow it to be controlled with a wiimote for people that can't afford the pad.

I see. I see nothing wrong with the whole one controller idea since no one hardly plays video game local anymore. It's all been about online play in the past few years.

Online is only for the ones who moved out of town, and can't visit

I think the whole reasoning for one tablet controller per system is that since it focuses on streaming having more than one would but a severe strain on the Wii U unless it's got a pretty bad ass processor and GPU in it. I could see allowing two tablets per system because it should be that taxing on it but any more than that and there'll be slow down.

On a side note I wonder if South Park will do a sequel to there episodes where Cartman freezes himself so he can get a Wii.

I disagree since I'm pretty sure graphics will be much better on the next system. They will always find always to make texture look better in games. The graphics gab between the PS2 and PS3 are pretty huge, I would imagine the same for the PS3 and PS4.

Those controllers would be EXPENSIVE.

I doubt that they will be super expensive. I doubt they are going to be higher then $40-$50, if you have a job then they should not be that much to buy. Not to mention companies like wild cat always make cheaper versions of controllers like they always do and could do the same for the Wii U.

those controllers will cost more then $40-$50 HS. It is essentially a DS without the top screen. I can see these controllers going for $100+ easily.

The graphics between the PS2 and PS3 where huge because we've had major innovations in graphics between the time the PS2 and the PS3 where launched there really hasn't been anything that major between say DX10 and DX11. For the next generation of conoles (Xbox 3 and PS4) I see backgrounds becoming more detailed and games having better physics I really don't see graphics improving that much since we've basically hit the max we can do with DX11.

Really doubt the Tekken game was PS3/360 footage since it's an exclusive and yet it still looks as good, the tech demo of Zelda and the bird should be enough to ease your worries guys.

I don't think you understand. The controller is packing so much technology that is already expensive now. The touch screen being that sized and built in, the whole streaming games and camera and all that jazz, the complexity of mass producing those and keeping a high manufacturing quality, etc.

^Why did you reply to a old post? Anyways, I'm not surprise that they are going to have Gamecube games to be downloaded and some HD updates of Melee would be awesome as Gigan X3 mention. I personally I would love to see a HD version of Wind Waker .
