Absolutely. Fallout 3 was amazing. This should be just as amazing, if not more.

I guess i'm the only who was not impressed with the game once the newness of the game wore off?
Apparently SWTOR said that I can invite 25 people for a 7 day trial of the game. PM me if interested.

Little brother preordered it. So i will be playing this all night once I get home.

Also frigging love Fallout 3. I'm not even a huge gamer.

Finally got arond to playing this now that I have a new laptop. Fallout 3 wouldn't work (some compatibility issue with 64 bit Windows 7) so yeah. This is the first Fallout game I've played and I think it's really fun. I slaughtered Goodsprings lololololol

You are not the only one. I did not like Fallout 3 as much after I played it for the second time, give me Oblivion any day of the week.

I never got back to this after playing it, lol. I just noticed that.

Yeah, it was a pretty blah game. The story wasnt engaging, and alot of the shit that was going on felt confusing and forced. I didnt know WTF I was doing, except that I needed to go to this point, talk to that guy, go to that point, talk to this girl, etc. It felt like one big haze of just wandering.

The weapons sucked too. Most of the guns I found were semi-automatic, which was kinda lame. And Jesus Christ, those skreeonk' dragonfly things. I hate them with a fiery passion. I'd rather fight a Deathclaw. At least they dont skreeonk' poison you!

Oh, and the health system was ass. Health doesnt regenerate, and food only replenishes health over the course of a few seconds (like +1 health every second for 10 secs) instead of just instant recovery, which really doesnt help when your getting ambushed and need INSTANT HEALTH RECOVERY TO skreeonk' SURVIVE.

Not to mention, New Vegas was a total letdown. I thought it'd be a big, thriving city to explore. Instead, it was a strip. Just a strip with a few merchants. skreeonk' ridiculous. Ugh.

Fallout 3 for life.

I liked it in the regard that it let you be who ever you wanted to be in the Wasteland. Fallout 3, while having a superior story, sorta' shoehorns you into the role of 'Savior' even if you just want to run around with a Mohawk and be a worthless Raider.

I liked that the best guns were harder to get and more saught after. You can pretty much find all the guns in FO3 in a little over an hour.

There's a glitch where, if they see you, they turn off clipping, ignore all obstacles and fly through all objects to get to you.

Hated those skreeonk.

Thats true, though in FO3 you didnt have to worry about pissing off like 20 factions, lol.

Thats another thing; I hated the faction thing. I didnt even pay attention to the missions, I just sorta ran with them, and somehow I ended up as Caesar's right hand man. In FO3 you didnt HAVE to pick a side. That kinda bothered me in New Vegas.

I honestly loved that about the game. I could get my favorite weapons (sniper, fat man, etc) and have a blast right away.

ANyone else here play the Dead Money DLC? I just beat it and wow that was awesome. Probably better then the entire campaign that I've gotten to so far in New Vegas.

Really wish I had money because GS has this for $19.99 this week. Oh well I'm sure they'll come up with one that has all the DLC packed in pretty soon.

NEVER mention Dead Money in my presence

Sereously I was about ready to tear my hair out in frustration while playing that quest. Honest Hearts looks promising, though what Im really interested in is Old World Blues.

So what are your preffered weapons/equipment in the game? Mine are:

Assault Carbine (w/ extended mags)
That Gun
Recharger pistol
Laser Rifle (W/ Focus Optics, Beam Splitter, Scope)
YCS/186
T-45d Power Armor w/ T-51b helmet

OMG I agree, I will never play Dead Money again, the reward at the end really isn't worth it's weight in Gold (Well actually it does but still...)

I just downloaded Honest Hearts and will be trying it out shortly. It looks promising.

Old World Blues was sooo good! It also provided some backstory to Elijah and Christine from Dead Money! And it addresses a few annoyances *coughcough*Cazardors*coughcough*

I wanna get the new DLC soooo badly but the game is hardly playable now with all these damn bugs and glitches. Quite literally, I can only travel a certain distance before my game crashes. The new patch seemed to create a while new slew of problems.

New Vegas is a great game, but I'll stick with Fallout 3 until all the glitches have been fixed for good.

You mean Black Mountain? Or is that something in the DLC?
