I wish he'd quit jerking off Barry Allen and Hal Jordan. He bitchified Kyle Rayner IMHO and Wally...WTF happened to Wally?!

HE'S skreeonk DEATHSTROKE! How could he NOT be awesome?!
Though I prefered him in the Teen Titans Animated Series, cause, let's be honest, Ron Perlman makes EVERYTHING awesome.

Deathstroke is so gay....

His costume, his kids ... ugh. Honestly. I loved the Deadshot vs Deathstroke quick draw in Secret Six.

We must test this theory with Season of the witch and Conan the Adventurer!

But yeah, he was awesome as Slade. If DC Animated ever does the Judas Contract, I would be interested to see who would play him. Hell, look at under the red hood's Joker. John Dimaggio I wasn't too sure about seeing he kind of does the same voice with a lot of his roles but the man really pulled it off.

After death in the family, I'm considering reading Knightfall.

So... I guess they're going back to Wonder Woman's classic costume just with a different color scheme. I can dig it!

Did anyone else read Batman: The Man Who Laughs?

Was anyone else a little underwhelmed by it? I mean, this is the first in continuity encounter between two of the great Arch-nemesi in contemporary and popular culture, and it's just sort of all right. :\

I refuse to read anything that spawned up after that whole Gotham earthquake. Ugh...

But if you wanna read some good Batman - Batman: Gaslight is a damn fine read.

Cause he is. :P

So in order to catch up with Flashpoint, I've been reading some of Geoff Johns' run on the character. I'm on blitz right now and I must say I rather enjoy the series, Wally is slowly climbing up on the flash totem pole. He's now above Bart but I still like Jay and Barry more but we'll see. I also read half of Batman a death in the family, it was alright I guess but I'll re-read it when I get the chance and finish up the book but now I get to read Knightfall AND Under the red hood. Plus I'm giving Green Lantern's greatest stories ever told a chance, I loved Captain Marvel's and Flash's so this should be good. I'm also probably going to buy Aquaman: Death of a Prince, it seems like an interesting story and HEY we got ourselves a new Aquaman book. Took forever, right? Kind of wish there would be a greatest stories ever told for him, infact I kind of wish there were more like one for Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, and hawkman.

I also finished up reading Brightest Day Vol 2 and Geoff Johns is a Genius! Take a bunch of characters who have their fanbase but can't really support their own book and make them the main focus of the book! I can't wait to read volume 3.

This whole reboot thing is confusing me.

So some characters get rebooted completely, while some not at all? And I read somewhere that several of the past stories still took place. Which ones? I wish they would come out with a guide either on the web or published that helps explain what's happened to the characters and what's still the same.
I was mentioned in the SciFi Japan article about the appearence of extras on the Godzilla vs. Megalon DVD.

^^ $10 all the titles that got rebooted will be retconned into an Earth-###.

I dont even read the titles that got rebooted. Relaunched titles to me are fine but reboots are just fail.

Well, through a stroke of luck I was able to get the old leatherbound Complete Frank Miller Batman for pretty cheap. It was my first time to read DKR and Year One. Gotta say, I enjoyed the Dark Knight Returns but didn't love it. Year One, though, was absolutely fantastic.

Also, Volume 5 of Swamp Thing came out. Anybody else read it?

Of The New 52 I've read:
Justice League - 3/5
Red Lanterns - 4/5
Green Lantern - 4/5
Green Lantern Corps - 3.5/5

Theyre all good but there's alot of panels and not much story...

To read:
Superboy
Batgirl

Batgirl is Gail Simone. Cant go wrong with her..

The Legion of Superheroes crossover I heard a while back and I like it. I'd also like to see a Dr. Who crossover, but that's just me.

Brightest Day I say is one of THE most brilliant ideas in comics. Get a bunch of characters who have their fanbases but can't really support their own title and make them have big parts in an event book if you call brightest day an event book. I really dug from what I read of Brightest Day and Johns on Aquaman is just win plus the opening pages are lol.

...except almost all the Brightest Day relaunch books are now rebooted, canceled or relaunched making the entire event pointless.

^That. Other than Flashpoint !, it seemed like a waste of time and money at the end of the week to really get involved in anything DC Comics. Because it was going to end up getting rebooted out of existence. Although, it seems that DC is trying to keep some things from before, Identity Crisis and Whatever Green Lantern Event Geoff Came Up With, but its sounding a little clunky at best. Also the way they're taking the Batman/Catwoman relationship is getting into Joel Schumacher/Brand New Day territory. :eh:

The upside, The One and Only, is that not all the New 52 are reboots. The entire Green Lantern mythos is unchanged and you can decide on a reboot or just a relaunch of Batman. The Superman family, JL and Teen Titans are totally rebooted but LoSH isnt...

I havent read it, but Im excited to read Batgirl (I bought it though) by Gail Simone beacuse I LOVE her. But Im still catching up on all the Secret Six stuff from Birds of Prey 109 til Secret Six #36 when the team was beaten and disbanded.
