Meh my Kaiyodo G89 looks more like G89 then that $70 toy. It's nice, but I dont like the eyes.

It's not the 89 suit.
I actually mainline Ibizious straight between my toes. If they start getting too stiff, I go for the eyeballs...

Also, if these are more in the line of SH Figuarts, then I imagine the joints will be of a higher quality than the U-A's. I'm nothing but excited, and this is plenty of time to set aside money for these...

I've never had an Ultra-Act or SH Figuarts figure before, so this'll be a first for me. If I like them I'll probably end up getting them all. I hope the releases after Godzilla and Mechagodzilla are a little more spaced out though. for my wallet's sake.

^This confuses me.

Fairy Mothra, have you ordered from Toyfreakz before? I'm thinking of just getting it out of the way and going with them, but I kinda want to keep my ear to the ground for maybe a better deal at a site I've used and trust.

I can't wait to set this guy up against my Revoltechs and my U-A's.
I don't think that Angy is going to look too out of proportion, especially since we've never seen him paired up against the Heisei suit.
Gigan is probably a lost cause, but Rodan, funnily enough will probably be about the right size for Fire Rodan.
Mothra, well, she'll be Mothra, haha, I don't mind her fluctuating.
I don't have Moguera, so I can't say, but I'll definitely be able to set up a cool Godzilla vs. Gomora shot, and, come to think of it, there's someone around here that would probably interest...

I don't know where or how to buy things like this :P and like I said, I'm a cheap bastard. It's not so much that it's expensive in itself as much that I have poor money management skills and probably won't have $70 in pleasure money at the time of release. Lots of birthdays come up near the holidays in my family.

But as someone who seems to buy a lot of these types of toys, do the prices go up quickly or will they hover around the same price for a while? I'm curious whether I'll have a chance to pick this up later on or whether waiting a few months will just make them more expensive.

^With something like this that is getting an even bigger release than the Revoltechs I predict that the price will hover in a steady range for a while.
I haven't been in the game for a long time mind you, just spent a mint on it, so I may not know what I'm talking about here; But I'll say this, the Revoltechs prices haven't moved much in the time they've been out. The Ultra-Acts prices have stayed pretty consistent, with a few exceptions (Hayata b/f the reissue, Ultraseven, Eleking, and Gomora).
Neither of those lines have had as wide a release as these figures, so I imagine supplies will be kept up, at least for awhile.

Hard to say, though. These babies are going to fly off the shelves, I assure you...

Thanks. If that's the case I might save up and go for one of em in 2012. I worry a lot about price-jumps since lately they've been rather unpredictable - the huge jump in BC's took me by massive surprise. I'm someone who doesn't stick his head out of my neck of the woods collecting-wise (6" Bandai figures) too often

I'm just wondering if they will be available to pre-order through Amazon? Does anybody know? They usually give great discounts and I have a CC with them...

All the kaiju revoltechs are on Amazon.

So I am predicting these guys will be.

Found this at Club Tokyo forums:

Also the prices are down and up a bit. Godzilla's $65 now and MechaGodzilla's $75 or $85 IIRC

Im sorry, $70 is not a good deal. Not when Revs before them were < $30.

They need to be capped at $39.99

The Revoltechs are a lot smaller though, and from what I hear, these are probably going to be much more solid and heavy figures. I like the posability of the Revoltechs, but I don't like how small and light they are. I have Rodan and Baragon and I probably wouldn't buy any more of them.

also, the Revoltechs aren't less than $30. they're usually around $40. $70 is a lot for a toy, but if they turn out to be better quality than the Revoltechs, that and the size will make it worth it to me, personally. I also really like the sculpts on Heisei Goji and SpaceGodzilla.

Where do you buy them? I've never seen the kaiju ones online for less than around $40 (even if they're a couple bucks less, shipping makes them around $40 anyway). I've never looked for any of the others though.
