The death of that one character was more gruesome. Muruchi got what was coming to him.
Not sure I'm following you? Which character had the more gruesome death? Muruchi, Doragoris or Metron?
Ah, my bad. I thought you were talking about the original Muruchi. Sorry. :-x

It's a shame such a popular actor now makes his living selling used cars.
I used to be a lot more optimistic and outgoing, believe it or not. I used to actually be passionate about this stuff.

Titanosaurus may be the final Showa monster, but he's not the least- not at all. The suit looks great, and the monster was a terrific fighter. He gave Godzilla a brutal battle. His musical score is also a nice touch.
I've got a good mind to join a club and beat you over the head with it.

Then expect something that's fiercer, more cruel, and deadly than anything that's walked the Earth.

Titanosaurus is one of my favorite foes in the Showa Series. Titano was a strong fighter when under mind control. The one problem I had was just how he went down. Godzilla was damn lucky that Titano wasn't in full strength after he got nailed by the JDSF with their sonic waves. Titano should still have gave Godzilla a rougher fight.

The movie (had it been done without Titanosaurus) would have been good, but the plot of the movie wove together interesting back stories and good characters in general so well, that the movie may have lost a decent amount of awesomeness without the giant Dino.

Good Kaiju. I would like to see him in another movie soon.

Very cool monster. Can't help but think he'd have been way cooler in Godzilla vs The Sea Monster instead of Ebirah, but I suppose that's pointless whining at this point.

Definetly one of my favorite. I think it would have been nice to see him solo against Godzilla, and maybe not under control, but the movie he was in was good, and a good way to introduce him into the series.

I've heard a lot of people say they wish he would've been in the Heisei series. I kind of would liked to have seen him, but maybe we should be thankful he wasn't. You know damn well they would have given him a beam weapon which, like Rodan, wouldn't have looked right. The tooth-and-claw monsters should have stayed that way; that's part of their character. Anyway, if they could've avoided the beam-wars concept, he would've been great in that series.

Kawakita thought to much physical fighting was unrealistic, hence the reliance on beam wars.

As for Titanosaurus, it's a shame the only chance he had to shine was in a movie as busy as Terror of Mechagodzilla. But he's never left a big impression on me.

I couldn't give a good reason as to why I like him. You could say that "He's a throwback to T&C", but honestly, I think that when I was a kid I just thought he looked and sounded cool as hell.

Living Corpse wrote: Remember when Toho told Honda he'd never make another Godzilla film? Yeah I think that should have been saved for this guy instead. OK, a bit harsh but beams are only cool for so long, sometimes you just need an all out melee with your fights.
I thought it was Honda that told Toho he would never make another Godzilla movie. Anyway, I agree 100%. Kawakita's beam wars sucked. Heisei needed an old fashioned ass-kicking Godzilla.

Titanosaurus should make a comeback but not mind controlled just kicking along side Godzilla.

Titanosaurus is a pretty cool monster. His suit is one of the best suits I've seen in the Showa series. I like his design (especially his giraffe-like neck). I also like who he was used in the film, and how tragic it all ended for him.

Granted, ToMG if my favorite Godzilla film, so I think that might have something to do with my opinion of the monster.
