Street Fighter X Tekken coming our way August 19th when Gamescom takes place in Cologne, Germany. So we might get more gameplay, or a different trailer.

I believe it's safe to say that the Tekken version isn't fully showable yet. so the SF version will most likely be the one shown. Which is fine with me CAN'T WAIT!

Actually, this event IS going to have the Tekken version, the SF version is guest.

Really? AWESOME!!! I've always wondered how things would turn out for the Tekken version and see how things go from it.
Especially since Ryu and other SF characters have energy based attacks.

Who's Gon? I don't remember him, It's been millions since I played Tekken 3 and I wasn't that into the series back then.

Yeah he was funny, He could work in a game like MVC but I don't think he would in something like SFxT/TxSF, Not without getting a spot before someone more worthy.

Although, he's a joke anyway, so he's not supposed to work.

Gon may have been a joke character, but that sum'bitch was one of the TOUGHEST characters in Tekken 3. He was fuggin' awesome.

He was kinda hard at first but I've been able to beat him on the first try more often than not in normal and hard.

Anyway, there's some news. But on the Tekken Version and it looks sick

After seeing this, I hope Evil Ryu makes it into the Tekken version. Looks to badass to pass up.

Moving on, this is Ryu's model but it's still a WIP and not complete yet.

Namco held an unusual event at Gamescom today to give its European audience a peek at Street Fighter X Tekken. But fans of both fighting games also got a sneak peek at its successor sibling, Tekken X Street Fighter.

Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono and Katsuhiro Tekken producer Harada showed Gamescom attendees the same Street Fighter X Tekken gameplay that was demonstrated to fans at Comic-Con last month. And while Harada said that the Tekken team was busy with other projects ("the next Tekken") and wouldn't ship their entry in the Namco vs. Capcom collaboration until after Street Fighter X Tekken arrived, he did offer a very brief glimpse of Tekken X Street Fighter.

Harada offered a very early look at the 3D Ryu model being worked on in the Tekken style, one that he stressed was not finished with proper lighting or even with a final uniform. In the shots shown off at Gamescom, the Tekken X Street Fighter version of Ryu was wearing the gi of Paul from Tekken.

The producers of Street Fighter X Tekken and Tekken X Street Fighter asked fans not to worry too much about the current prototype state of the model, pleading that they'll keep groaning on Facebook and Twitter to a minimum

I've always wanted to see how Ryu would look like in Tekken, and I have to say he looks well done. And he looks alot more realistic too!
