^This  You can't deny most people would agree with that.Besides, the fact that raptors were how they were in the series is what people loved them for. They couldn't care less if it was scientifically accurate or not.I'm a hardass when it comes to that in dinosaurs but its a movie, not a documentary.I just want to kick back and be entertained.

Talking from personal experience, if you're unarmed, a couple could tear you a new one.

Yeah, only raptors and closely related species maintained feathers in maturity.
It is a simple story. There is nothing that brings me happiness. Be it believing in others or them believe in me, it did not matter.
What others called happiness simply did not bring me joy.

Give it serrated teeth, a sickle claw, a bad attitude, and a pack to hunt with, then yes.

^That and the fact that dinosaurs having feathers is a relativly new discovery. It was significantly later after the original movie that it became more widely known. So they just wanted to keep that tradition of that non-feathered raptor because it stuck so well.

And for the record, I always attributed the lack of feathers due to the presence of frog DNA.
Heck, EVERY DINOSAUR INACCURACY in the movies could be attributed to the use of foreign kinds of DNA/ deliberate tampering to make them more like how Hammond wanted them to be (Which is an issue brought up in the book, as well as mentioned in the third movie.)

Love the first Jurassic Park.

The second is good enough.

The third is just....meh.

I think a pissed off turkey in a dark room is pretty scary.

Again, I don't see how feathers and/or a more accurate size would make them all cute n' cuddle.

Just the fact that they are considerably smaller and feathers are not very intimidating. Not saying it makes it any more less of a danger but it does look a hell of a lot less scary.

Well, just like in the beginning of Jurassic Park, the kid didn't find the velociraptor scary even though he knew it was as big as a man, it's all about the execution, so, time to make a real velociraptor scary.

Loved how Grant owned that kid. It's practically adult on child bullying.

Jurassic park 4/Jurassic World

Post by Xx_The_Masquerade_xX »

It was said less then a month ago that director Steven Spielberg was meeting with writer of ''i am Legend' 'Mark Protosevich to Reboot the ''Jurassic park franchise.

Well now comes word from director of ''Jurassic park 3'' Joe Johnston that meetings are going well, an that an entire New Trilogy for the Franchise is going as planned.

Quote from Joe Johnston:

- The director said simply, “We are in discussions about ‘Jurassic Park 4.’ The most important thing I can tell you is that it starts a new trilogy that will go off in a different direction — a completely different direction that is very exciting, and different from anything we’ve seen.” Johnston continued by saying that, “It starts with the history of the first trilogy, but it spins it off in a completely different direction. That’s all I can tell you.”

So could it be a decade later, Jurassic park 4 will finally be returning... An could it also go up against Godzilla in 2013 or 2014... since both are in the writing process.

Then petition for a live action Turok and/or Dino-Riders movie. Dinosaurs with guns, while awesome, is too out there for JP.

Come to think of it, why the frack haven't we gotten a live-action Dino-Riders movie?

I second that! I want a Dino-Riders movie as well... This type of thing should stay out of the JP universe, but id be done for Dino-Riders... T-Rex with laser's would be epic
