Eh, I think he should be a horrible abomination of Godzilla and Ghidorah's cells made from the blood of Ghidorah's severed head mixing with the oxygen destroyers contaminated waters.

I'm going throw out two monsters that would work extremely well in the Monsterverse. Gorgo and Reptilicus.

have Gorgo be a creature that lives so deep in the seas around Ireland that Orca call did reach her and make her the monster that destroyed UB-85 during world war one. Reptilicus, just stick to the start of the original movie. A piece of flesh from along dead titan is found frozen in a ice cave deep below Denmark. It gets defrosted and regenerates into a full grown Reptilicus.

And huge plus here, both are in the public domain. So, there is anything stopping them from being used. Hell, Toho could use both of them in their own Godzilla movies and not have to worry about legal action or anything like that.

They are? I would assume that they would still be under copyright by their owners. Also,Ogra is the girl,Gorgo's the baby.

The Characters are public domain, the movies aren't.

You see both characters first appeared in comic books from Charlton, a full year before the movies came out. Well,Charlton did not put any copyright notice in either of the comic runs. So the movies are adaptations of the comics. So since there isn't a copyright trademark on their first appearances, Gorgo,Ogra the baby and Reptilicus are in the public domain. The same thing with Konga, the character is public domain. The movie is not.

Here's my proof. https://pdsh.fandom.com/wiki/Gorgo#Notes

Find some proof that isn't a wikia page that anyone can edit and you might have a case.

Biollante would work wonders in the Monsterverse, she could just be an ancient plant that lives dormant on Skull Island but reawakens when she ingests other Titans blood.

Oh i don't know. Biollante loses some of her wonder when she's not a massive Godzilla plant clone on massive steroids. It's already been stated genetically engineered Titans can be made so why not keep that part of her?

I've checked, they're in the public domain.

Gorgo, Konga and Reptilicus all first in novels and comic books, all published by Charlton comics a full year before the movies were released in the US. For Gorgo and Konga, their books were published in 1960 and Reptilicus was in 1961.

Charlton did not have proper copyright notice in the books and comics. So there for any work published without a proper copyright notice between 1923 and 1977 are in the public domain.
https://copyright.cornell.edu/publicdomain

And if Charlton did have the proper copyright notice, the copyright for them has not been renewed.

So there, and if anyone is interested reading these comics are up for free at ComicBookPlus.com. A website that specialises in public domain comics.

How about a plant taken from Skull Island and being experimented on? Best of both worlds.

I think Battra would do real well. Not only is the set up already there with Mothra, but it would be interesting to have a less benevolent counterpart to Mothra who is still a protector of the planet, while also being the first titan in the MV to actively target humanity for their part in damaging the earth.

Megalon and Manda would also fit right in, we already have underwater cities that once worshipped titans who protected them.

Wait so Gorgo,Reptilicus, and Konga first showed up in books and comics before their respective movies were made? Huh...Guess you learn something new every day after all...That means if the Monsterverse lives on then these are possible future monsters to show up if they are indeed public domain.
Why am I always chasing rainbows?

Yes but technically no.

The books and comics were released before the movie came out but were still very much created as tie-ins to the movie. It's a similar situation to King Kong.

They really aren't possible and I think it's extremely silly to think they'll be resurrected in any form when Legendary would much rather create their own monsters and/or use some from the Toho library before grabbing D-list monsters from old 50's/60's schlock.

I'd just rather they create their own monsters anyway. I love all the older monster movies and Godzilla's rogues gallery, but let's actually create new things for once...less nostalgia grabs.

I know this has been suggested beforehand, but why not have a M.U.T.O/Skullcrawler hybrid monster for Godzilla and Kong to team up against in the future film. Have it be made out of Prime's DNA (since she's the strongest M.U.TO) and maybe even a Prime Skullcrawler if that ever happens.

Nothing inherently wrong with nostalgia. It’s always exciting to see classic members of the rogues gallery realized with modern special effects and new stories on the big screen. Same as with comic book villains. I hope we see the return of many more classic monsters. It’s not like we only see classic monsters anyway, like your comment seems to imply. We got new creations in both G14 and KSI, even a few in KOTM for that matter.
