Why the hell aren't more people on this forum talking about this show? Episode 1 is out, and holy shit this is literally Age of Reptiles in motion.

This show is pretty damn solid so far. I love the lack of dialogue here and how the animation and body language tells you everything you need to know. I’m really looking forward to the next episode!
Reignited... and hopefully less weird this time around.

It came out on the website around the end of last week, it's pretty good. My only real problem is that the slow-mo scenes have a sort og kind of sketchy-looking, low-framerate kind of thing going on; other than that it's pretty solid visual storytelling

Having seen the first episode last night On Demand, those are pretty much my thoughts on it. In fact, I'd go as far to say that this is likely to be the best animated dinosaur series since 'Cadillacs and Dinosaurs'.

Genndy says "Who knows if she's dead" while narrating over that scene's animatic, so I think she's okay. But if they replace Fang with Ashi 2.0 I will drop this series so fucking fast

Oh man... and to think the next half comes out in the next year. Definitely the best spiritual adaptation of Age of Reptiles

Oh. My. God. That was awesome. Fluid/excellent animation, Perfect character direction, colorful pallets and backgrounds, and all told through no dialouge. I loved every second of this show. Two thumbs way up!

All I can do now is just hope that adultswim.com unlocks some more episodes. Until then I'll have to anxiously wait foe now......

I say just give Tartakovsky the reigns on a Godzilla cartoon already.

I didn’t realize how much I wanted this until you said it.

Seriously. An animated Godzilla movie in Genndy’s style with brutal action and beautiful landscapes would be utterly divine for me.
Reignited... and hopefully less weird this time around.

I was thinking more a TV series on CN.

TV or Movie series, I’ll take either one. I’d love it all the same.

I caved in and went on ahead and bought the show on Amazon. Overall an absolutely amazing show. I'm so anxious for more episodes.
Spoiler:
And oh man was the final episode good! Such an absolute tease to have to wait to see if Fang is still alive.
This show impressed me so much that I couldn't help but to review it on my channel......

I finally got around to watching this and it turned out to be the most me-show put on TV.

Dinosaurs and monsters? Check. No dialogue and focusing on visual storytelling? Check. Violent as all get up? Check. Emotionally driven? Check.

Its literally everything I want! I loved it!

The very thought of that happening brought a tear to my eye. God it would be beautiful.

For me, I consider My Hero Academia as the spiritual successor to Dragon Ball....with the line "all of our strengths, none of our weaknesses" from Blade coming to mind. MHA has all of my favorite aspects of Dragon Ball, none of my least favorite aspects....done in a fresh, new, focused, amazing style.

I feel like Primal is sort of that "spiritual successor" to Samurai Jack. For a long time, that Samurai Jack was my #1 Western Animation.

Primal has taken all of the best aspects of Samurai Jack and enhanced them, while discarding or improving the weakest aspects.

It is pure, focused, art. Beautiful and brutal all at once.

Evidently they're airing the new Primal tonight
I'll get back once I've actually watched it
EDIT: well it's increasingly starting to seem like I just flat out fucking missed it and have no choice but to wait until October or whenever the fuck they start airing them regularly
My mood's done about a complete 180
