I liked Hobbs and Shaw. Didn't love it, but after marathoning the whole F&F series, it fit in with those movies quite well and was a fun time.

It Chapter 2 is the most disappointed I've been in a movie all year. I liked Part 1, despite its flaws, because it fixed many of the issues I had with the book and the TV miniseries (trimmed the fat and made the clown actually somewhat scary). Part 2 went right back to overly bloated and goofy with a jerky pace, too much material, and the horror moments being so ridiculous, I couldn't tell if they were going for laughs or if they were trying to scare us and failed.

Just saw Rambo: Last Blood.

As a fan of the series, I really liked it. I won't spoil it but it was missing a little something I was hoping for at the end that would have put it over the top.

As is, it is grizzly, violent, and it was awesome to see Rambo in action one last time. The movie even got me to tear up at one point. I don't know what it is about that mumbling palooka, but something about Stallone can really hit me in the feels when he needs to.
