EDIT: In response to Jnavs' Godzilla from the last page...

It's different, but I actually kind of like it. Alligator influence has to be used sparingly in Godzilla designs, but you struck a pretty good balance, I'd say. The tail fin... my knee-jerk reaction was disapproval, but it's already grown on me. It also makes me want to see a Godzilla that keeps the jagged fins running all the way down his tail, though they get very small up until the tail tip, where a large, sharp fin would work like a thagomizer.

And that Hedorah further up the page is very suitably disgusting and even disturbing; the Final Form's exposed guts and gross, wormy, fungus-looking 'hair' fringes are legitimately making my skin crawl. It's just... awful in a way the Showa and GFW versions never even approached, yet is still acceptably close to those designs. It truly looks like an unnatural abomination that someone needs to kill, yet also has this bizarrely regal, godlike quality that makes it feel like the divine punishment humanity deserves for what we've done to the environment. It's a perfect Hedorah for the post-Shin era, and I would be all for seeing it brought to life in a movie. I kind of don't want to see all those hairs writhing and squirming like they inevitably would, though... *shudder*

Thank you! I figured my post was lost in the sea of old pages , i really tried to strike that balance where he doesn't look too lizardy, (Zilla), but can still have major modern reptile influences. The tail is certainly an acquired taste lol, so I'm glad it's growing on you, since I was aiming for different, yet innovative. The longer tail fin with a large sharp fin would be a good idea, I may consider adding something like that once I finish some of the details.

I think this might be my favorite redesign of Hedorah out of all the ones I've ever seen. The multiple eyes, the open insides... It gives me a less intense Junji Ito vibe and I love it.

Trollmans' Hedorah is nightmare fuel incarnate! Love it! His Kumonga looks alright but could be a bit less green. Paleop's Destoroyah is terrifying and imposing, and i like how he portrayed the character as assuming the traits of the kaiju he's just killed which helps his evolution.

This one is by Damouraptor, and takes inspiration from multiple extinct fauna, particularly synapsids, as well as ShodaiGoji and DougheGoji for the main body.

I'm really happy with how this turned out. I was in limbo on how to redesign Rodan that didn't include making him a wyvern (my original idea), or another pterosaur. Then I came up with it, BIRD LIZARD! Merging the look and shape of a bird, with the scales of a reptile. I think it went well.
