That it's not more than 2 hours and it doesn't drag in some parts are my biggest fears.

I personally think Legendary's Godzilla films would greatly benefit from being shorter, not every film needs to be 2 hours or more especially now a days.
You could have personally cut a good 20 minutes easily from KOTM and it would have been fine. Godzilla 2014 could have done the same thing.

That the teaser won't be featured at NYCC and previews during Joker.

Its a missed opportunity given the large crowd with the former meaning more interest and attention. If they don't do this I'm convinced that Godzilla vs. Kong and MonsterVerse are pretty much doomed.

At least with marketing like that which would be a smart move the film might at least do relatively decent in the box office.

It's a given that a teaser for Godzilla vs Kong will show up around next month or in November. Most movies released around in March usually have a trailer ready around that time if I'm right.

I totally agree with GuardianGhido about how K:SI had the best Monsterverse fight. KOTM was suppose to have an even better fight considering the monsters in the film, but it keeps cutting away and sometimes the camera is just way too shaky. So I hope they make it more like K:SI in that arena.

I also fear that they're going to severely handicap Kong by making him either too small or too weak. Or they'd give in with fan service and give us a cheap team up that the kids want.

Most my fears stem from KOTM

They'll throw the sense of scale and weight out the window again

I fear the fights will be nothing special at all like before and just as choppy.

I fear the pacing won't allow for anything to sink in or breathe.

More unoriginal callbacks, I don't want to see Oxygen Destroyers and Burning Godzillas, I want originality instead of sloppy lazy borrowing.

I fear more hokey unatural characters, G14 gave me people, I want people again.

When I was a kid I used to think Heisei Godzilla's personality was such a blank slate it was boring, but now as an adult I realize he was just subtle, Mr Shindo and Junior probably being the most blatant he was with his emotions.

Yeah for me growing up, I absolutely loved Heisei G, he always felt the most badass to me. Some of his expressions looked so evil and menacing, like he'd save Tokyo, just because it was his stomping ground.

I honestly don't see how it can be any worse than we've already gotten. The only lower we can get is Uwe Boll/Asylum quality. That said I for the most part trust Terry Rossio as a screenwriter. I for one enjoyed the hell out of The Lone Ranger.
